Charles Almon Dewey (1877-1958) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Iowa.
He was nominated by President Calvin Coolidge on January 23, 1928 to a new seat created by 45 Stat. 52. He was confirmed by the Senate on January 31st, and received commission that same day. On March 1, 1949, he assumed senior status. He served until his death on March 2, 1958. Dewey was succeeded in this position by Carroll Switzer.
