Charles Harwood Moorman (1876-1938) was a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit and the United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky. Moorman died on January 26th, 1938.

Judicial nominations and appointments

Sixth Circuit

Moorman was nominated by President Calvin Coolidge on January 2, 1925 to replace Loyal Edwin Knappen. He was confirmed by the Senate on January 13th, and received commission that same day. He served until his death on January 26, 1938.[1]

Western District of Kentucky

Moorman was nominated by President Calvin Coolidge on January 3, 1924 to replace Walter Evans. He was confirmed by the Senate on January 8th, and received commission that same day. He served on this court until February 2, 1925.[1] Moorman was succeeded in this position by Charles Dawson.
