Overview[]
Damien has low tolerance for Ripper's antics and teasing.
Despite being members of the same team in Total Drama Island (2023), neither Damien nor Ripper get along, mainly due to Ripper's disgusting and abrasive personality. Initially having a hint of respect for Damien, Ripper spent a brief period of time hanging out with him and attempting to involve him in his bullying escapades in Pirates of the Cabbage'an. He eventually realizes the "unfortunate truth" about Damien, and from this moment on, Ripper repeatedly pesters him, loudly calling out that he's a nerd. Damien is disgusted, annoyed, or freaked out by Ripper's antics. Despite finding Ripper's character very questionable, Damien still tries to work with him in a campaign to get himself booted off the island. Ripper usually just ignored his desperate attempts to leave, prioritizing the challenges and even other teammates before him. In Jurassic Fart, Damien saves his teammates’ lives after Ripper nearly put them in danger, earning back some genuine respect from Ripper. Fully acknowledging Damien's heroic actions, Ripper expected to go home in his place, unaware of the act of gratitude that ends up sending Damien home instead. Damien does not interact with Ripper but still holds a low opinion of him in Total Drama Island (2024), recalling the time he used Priya as a human shield and being grossed out by his relationship with Axel.

Damien gives Ripper an unamused stare after Ripper asks if the cabins are co-ed, giggling childishly until Axel shuts him up. Later in the challenge, Ripper accidentally exposes his bum, and Damien turns away with a cry of disgust. He freaks out in the following confessional, believing that it is something that cannot be shown on TV. Damien expresses concern for Ripper and Chase's lives after they sink in a mud puddle and points out that they could've drowned.
Pirates of the Cabbage'an[]
Damien wants someone to call an ambulance for Zee.
As the duo walks, Ripper complains to Damien about how Chris gave him new shorts after the network complained about his bum. After spotting Millie, Ripper pushes Damien into the bush and tells him to look at her writing, “like a nerd.” Damien tries to question how writing makes you a nerd, right before Ripper snatches Millie's notebook. Ripper tries to have Damien play along with the bullying of a nerd, passing it to Damien through a well-aimed throw. Damien catches it and chooses to respectfully give it back to Millie instead. As Ripper farts while counting steamboats, Damien appears to be worried, asking what happens at ten and if he should take cover. After Ripper explains that he’s trying to beat the “48-second stink torpedo heard around the world,” Damien doesn’t believe this is a real thing and tries asking if he’s making it up. After Ripper says that he feels as if counting out loud may hurt his chances, Damien gives him an explanation as to why it may actually help, before Ripper cuts him off and calls him a nerd while pointing at him, much to the annoyance of Damien.
Drown Town Abbey[]
Damien asks Chase and Ripper to vote him off.
As Ripper performs awfully in the challenge, Damien is visibly concerned for his own life, asking where Ripper's at. He then bangs on the glass for him to hurry up. Damien watches with a worried expression as Ripper finally returns with his number and falls over after sustaining a brutal injury. No longer wanting to risk his life for a million dollars, Damien begins his campaign to try to get himself eliminated. He tries and fails to convince Chase and Ripper that it’s his fault they’re losing.
Numbskull Island[]
Damien wants to be considered for elimination.
The Ferocious Trout's defense is failing to ward off the opposing team. A now frustrated Ripper wonders where Damien and Scary Girl are. His question is quickly answered when he sees her chasing Damien. Then Ripper angrily asks himself if he’s got to do everything. After the Ferocious Trout lose the challenge and Ripper and Scary Girl argue over who’s going home, Damien puts his hand on Ripper’s shoulder, asking if he can throw his name into the mix. At the campfire ceremony, when Ripper narrowly survives in the game, he celebrates by performing a very gross act with his marshmallow that makes Damien throw up.
Jurassic Fart[]
As Damien explains why the beans were making everyone fart, Ripper interrupts him and calls him a nerd, restating exactly what Damien said. As Damien and Priya decide they need a new plan to cross the island silently, Ripper interrupts them, showing them his pillow trick that muted his farts. In the mess hall, Ripper gets a brand new burst of motivation for his fart record. Damien recognizes exactly what Ripper is doing, having a reaction of disbelief and terror. As soon as he starts his pace to tie with the world record, Damien collapses onto the ground. Damien then yells at Ripper once it's all over, asking him if he’s crazy. As the group notices they may have drawn unwanted attention, Ripper cockily claims that raptors can’t open doors since they have the brains of nine-year-olds. Damien side-eyes Ripper, asking when he learned how to open a door. Despite their clear lack of any real bonding, Damien manages to save everyone's lives, a feat that silently earned Ripper's respect to some degree. Damien and Ripper are the bottom two in the following vote. Ripper accepted that he was going home, well aware that Damien didn't deserve to go over him. So when Ripper does get a marshmallow shoved in his mouth, both him and Damien are shocked.

As he’s angered with Millie for having betrayed his trust, Damien compares the previous episode’s events to Ripper using Priya as a human shield.
Choosin' for a Bruisin'[]
Damien is surprised to hear Ripper reciting poetry to win Axel over and is initially concerned for him when he thinks Axel is going to hurt him over this. He is grossed out when they end up kissing instead, and he covers his eyes shut shortly after.
Canoe Believe It?[]
Ripper is one of the only four that is unhappy about Damien winning immunity over Bowie.
Fun Fight at the O'Cake Corral[]
Damien is disgusted at seeing Ripper and Axel making out as they make a chocolate sculpture together, remarking it to be a "scarred for life" memory.

- They’re the two lowest ranking males of the Ferocious Trout.
- In addition to this they’re respectively the last member of the team eliminated before the merge and the first member of the team eliminated during the merge.
