Old Man Jenkins' barn is a location that first appears in the episode "The Sponge Who Could Fly." It belongs to Old Man Jenkins, who was called "Farmer Jenkins" when he worked at the barn.
About[]
Description[]
The barn looks like half of a red wooden boat and has a weather vane with a clam on top. There are also two brown wooden doors and a window that has hay sticking out of it. Right next to the barn is a silver grain silo. There is a white window with wheat sticking out of it.
Role in series[]
"The Sponge Who Could Fly"/SpongeBob Airpants: The Lost Episode[]
One of SpongeBob's attempts of flight is to use a plane next to Old Man Jenkins' barn. However, the plane's propeller spins so fast that it detaches itself from the plane and cuts through the barn's silo, angering Old Man Jenkins and causing him to chase SpongeBob and Patrick away.
"High Sea Diving"[]
In front of the barn and silo, farmer Incidental 103 puts a Great Pacific garbage patch comb on the back of a boatmobile and drives it to plow a field of plants.
"FarmerBob"[]
The barn and silo appear several times in the background, and start dancing around when Old Man Jenkins mentions a barn dance that night. The barn later gets destroyed after a tractor runs into it, and SpongeBob and Patrick have to raise the barn from childhood.
It soon reaches maturity and the barn dance commences.
"Biddy Sitting"[]
After the mom skydives out of a plane, she falls into a hay stack in front of Old Man Jenkins' barn.
"BassWard"[]
After Squidward and Bubble Bass are kicked out of a train for losing their tickets, the barn briefly appears along with Old Man Jenkins' farm while Squidward and Bubble Bass are observing their surroundings.
