The Flying Dutchman's graveyard is a location that appears in several video games. However, only the ship appears in the series.
Description[]
In Revenge of The Flying Dutchman, it is a sandy yellow, grey and brown mesa filled with cobwebs, broken ships, and lava. There is also some sort of factory with cranes carrying cargo boxes and giant metal anchors. In Battle for Bikini Bottom, the graveyard is now entirely grey and green, and has many gravestones and shipwrecks, including many ships stacked in a pile. There are also many islands surrounded by green goo falling out of a ship's porthole window. Shutting the window will reveal more islands which were originally underwater.
The graveyard is also a race track Seymour Scales uses to teach SpongeBob in the DS version of SpongeBob's Boating Bash.
Areas[]
- Graveyard lake: The entrance area of the graveyard has a river of goo in it and several wrecked ships.
- Graveyard of ships: A large area of broken and wrecked ships stacked on top of each other.
- Flying Dutchman's ship: Where the Flying Dutchman's ship is located. In Battle for Bikini Bottom and Battle for Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated, the robot ship is here as well.
- Dutchman's battle arena: A small island surrounded by goo. Sandy battles the Flying Dutchman here.
Trivia[]
- In Revenge of the Flying Dutchman, while the music is usually different depending on what costume SpongeBob is wearing in most worlds, the music in the Graveyard will be the same theme regardless of what costume he is wearing. The same applies to Chum World.
- The robot ships may be a reference to "Robot Pirate Island" from the season 3 episode "Idiot Box."
