The construction site is a location that appears in the video game Revenge of the Flying Dutchman.
Description[]
The construction site is a large area in downtown Bikini Bottom that is home to some unfinished buildings, with several brick walls, steel girders, a cement truck, and a wrecking ball going towards the buildings' construction. Inside part of a building is a dirt tunnel with active drills that leads to more girders and a glass platform. Below the platform is a cement pool filled with debris, with another similar pool beside it, though the latter pool has a bridge. Beyond the bridge is a path back to the rest of the site and a path to the High Rise apartments.
The site is staffed by four people; two construction foremen and two construction lobsters, with the latter being enemies.
Role in game[]
The construction site is the second part of downtown Bikini Bottom SpongeBob and Mr. Krabs visit to deliver Krusty Krab food, as the site's two foremen have ordered food. Filling the orders gives SpongeBob 20 sand dollars, with an additional sand dollar to earn by exploring the site. After the foremen are fed, Mr. Krabs reveals that people in the nearby High Rise apartments have ordered food, and heads for the apartments.
Patrick is also at the site, standing near a changing tent dressed as Barnacle Boy, and he will give the Mermaid Man costume to SpongeBob if he is fed Krabby Patties. SpongeBob needs the costume in order to get the "P" and "O" letter tiles hidden in the site. The site is also home to 92 doubloons and 6 jellyfish; 3 pink, 2 green, and 1 blue.
The construction site later becomes the area where SpongeBob searches for one of the Flying Dutchman's lost treasures. After finding the treasure chest, SpongeBob finds the fourth treasure; a dirty black wig with pigtails.
