Mussel Beach is a beach in Goo Lagoon where all the weight lifters go, including Larry the Lobster, Incidental 32, and Sandy Cheeks. It first appears in the episode "Ripped Pants."
The beach has a Juice Bar that serves drinks. The beach also has an annual Anchor Toss contest, which was revealed in the episode "MuscleBob BuffPants."

Description[]
There are sets of bleachers on the sides of the beach, where anyone can watch others lift weights. There are also two changing rooms and the Juice Bar.

"Ripped Pants"[]
Larry invites Sandy and SpongeBob to lift weights, and they accept. Sandy and Larry start lifting weights, while SpongeBob lifts a stick with two marshmallows on it to impress the crowd. He then rips his beach pants while lifting it.
"MuscleBob BuffPants"[]
SpongeBob uses Anchor Arms to look more muscular, and goes to Mussel Beach to show them off. Sandy decides to enroll him into the 8th Annual Anchor Toss.
When it is his turn to toss the anchor, his Anchor Arms explode, revealing that he was actually really weak.
"The Check-Up"[]
SpongeBob and Squidward go here to help train Mr. Krabs so he can pass his medical exam.
"Ain't That the Tooth"[]
SpongeBob, Patrick, and Dorsal Dan visit the giant trevally's house, which is located here.
"Kreepaway Kamp"[]
Larry, Mo, and Craig Mammalton are working out here when their invitations to the Kamp Koral reunions are delivered.

- Mussel Beach is a pun and misspell on the word "muscle," with mussel being a type of shellfish.
- The name of the beach could also be a parody of Muscle Beach, a real-life beach location in Santa Monica, California.
- There was an 18-year gap between its appearance in "MuscleBob BuffPants" and return in "The Check-Up."
