About[]

It is a metal building with a brown top with four wooden columns and a green sign that reads the name of the place in a lighter green with some clams.
Interior[]
The inside of the library has shelves of books, most likely filling up the whole building with shelves. There are wooden tables with wooden chairs with it too.
Role in series[]
"Mid-Life Crustacean"[]
After Mr. Krabs feels like he is too old, he hangs out with SpongeBob and Patrick to make him feel young again. This is one of the stops that they make. It is featured in a montage of places in which SpongeBob asks Mr. Krabs, "Are you feeling it now?," referring to the "wild and crazy feeling" that young people have. In this part, Incidental 93, who is the librarian, shushes SpongeBob.
"Rule of Dumb"[]
One day, a starfish arrives at Patrick's rock. Patrick sees that the starfish is dressed up and thinks that the starfish is from the library and is there to fine Patrick for his overdue books. He then runs to SpongeBob's house and starts to burn the books. SpongeBob then confronts the starfish, also thinking that he is from the library. The starfish asks if SpongeBob knows Patrick. SpongeBob says that he does not and that even if he did know Patrick, he does not know anything about overdue books. The starfish says that it is too bad because he was from the Starfish Ministry and wanted to give Patrick a gift.
"Pest of the West"[]
After Mr. Krabs, Sandy, and Patrick all tell SpongeBob about their successful relatives, SpongeBob wonders if he has any. Sandy and SpongeBob then go here to see. Sandy gets out a book called Family Histories of Bikini Bottom and finds the SquarePants family. She then reads about SpongeBob's western ancestor, SpongeBuck SquarePants, and how he saved Dead Eye Gulch from Dead Eye Plankton.
