Long Summary[]
The episode opens with Bartolomeo welcoming the viewers to his secret room. He invites in Tama to act as a special instructor to recap Luffy's Wano Country adventures: Tama. Bartolomeo wants to hear all about his idol's travels and Tama happily agrees to share.
Beginning the recap, Luffy arrives in the Wano Country to defeat Kaidou and settle the feud between them that began in Dressrosa. The first day on the island, Luffy meets Tama and saves her after she was was kidnapped by members of the Beasts Pirates. He defeats the Beast Pirates members and says that the beach is noisy. Tama welcomes Luffy to her home and feeds him a bowl of rice.
Luffy does not know that it is Tama's last bowl of rice, and because she is hungry, she drinks polluted river water instead. She falls unconscious, and Luffy takes her to see a doctor. On the way to the doctor, Zoro helps them fight off enemies, including Hawkins, a Shinuchi of the Beasts Pirates and a rookie from the Worst Generation like Luffy and Zoro. Zoro fends off Hawkins using his Two Sword Style. They save Tama’s life for the second time, and Otama considers Luffy as a Big Brother.
Kaido’s subordinates continue to pursue Tama, kidnapping her and taking her to Holed'em. Luffy, Kiku, and Zoro learn about Tama’s capture and run to rescue her. Luffy battles with Holed'em and defeats him with Gomu Gomu no Red Hawk. Tama is saved once again, and Luffy gives her a red apple. Luffy tells Tama that he is repaying her for feeding him. He also promises that he will fix the Wano Country so she never has to go hungry again. At this point, Tama begins to idolize Luffy, which Bartolomeo agrees with.
Luffy reunites with his crew and Law, but they are interrupted when Kaidou arrives. Luffy fights him using Gear 4: Bound Man but is easily defeated. Bartolomeo comments that he wishes he was their to protect Luffy. Tama informs him that Luffy went to the Prisoner Mine in Udon.
In the Prisoner Mine, Luffy meets Kid and they begin to compete over who will mine the most stone. When Daifugo tries to hurt an old man named Hyo, Luffy attacks the SMILE user. Bartolomeo comments that commotion always follows Luffy because he will be the future Pirate King.
When Luffy and Hyo try to flee the jail, Daifugo catches them, and the All-Star Queen forces them to fight off Beasts Pirates in the Sumo Inferno. Luffy uses the challenge to practice a new Haki technique Hyo teaches him, Ryuo. Luffy's allies invade the Prisoner Mine and help him conquer it after he inspires his fellow prisoners to fight back against Kaidou. He continues to train his Ryuo with five days until the invasion of Onigashima.
Tama jumps to the day of the invasion and tells Bartolomeo that Kurozumi Kanjuro betrays his fellow Nine Red Scabbards as Orochi's spy. Kanjuro kidnaps Momonosuke. Bartolomeo is shocked that Kanjuro is a traitor, having traveled with him until Zou. Momonosuke begs for Luffy's help, and just in time, the pirate captain, Law, and Kid arrive. They destroy the Beasts Pirates' ships in their way, to Bartolomeo's fascination.
Another one of Luffy's allies arrive to assist in the invasion: the former Warlord of the Sea Jinbe. He joins the Straw Hat Pirates as their helmsman and is warmly welcomed by the crew. Tama asks if Jinbe is someone important, and Bartolomeo tells her that he is a strong pirate that every pirate in the world knows who fought in the Summit War of Marineford with Luffy.
The invaders approach Onigashima's torii gate, and the Straw Hat Pirates decimate the guards protecting it. Luffy decides to postpone any celebrations until after they defeat, Kaidou, Orochi, and Big Mom.
Inside Onigashima, a disguised Luffy clobbers a Pleasure for wasting oshiruko and reveals his identity. Bartolomeo asks why Luffy did so, and Tama says it was because he remembers his promise to her, making Bartolomeo cry. Luffy faces off against Page One and Ulti, and Bartolomeo is surprised to hear that some people can transform into dinosaurs.
Luffy is captured by Ulti, but before she can hit him with her head slam, a masked figure knocks her out and grabs Luffy, running away. They introduce themselves as Yamato, son of Kaidou. Tama tells Bartolomeo that the two got along instantly, despite Yamato being related to Kaidou. They reach the Live Floor, and Kaidou reveals his alliance with Big Mom to find and claim One Piece. Big Mom attacks Luffy, and he tells Big Mom that he will kick their asses in an all-out war. He calls upon his allies to help fight back. Bartolomeo is amazed by the Straw Hat Pirates as they prepare to take down Kaidou.
To Bartolomeo's disappointment, Tama's recap ends. Bartolomeo looks forward to Luffy's fight with the Emperors and thanks Tama. The two ask the viewers to continue cheering Luffy and his crew on before signing off.
