Mia: “My name’s Mia”
Sebastian: “Guess I’ll see you in the movies…”
This is the film that won an Oscar, but had the statuette taken away one minute later. It's your basic boy-meets-girl, will-they-won't-they plot. One is an aspiring actress and barista, the other is a struggling jazz musician.
The film is old fashioned in style and just as clichéd as you think it will be, but there's a little something here for everyone. With two very likeable leads and a career best performance from Emma Stone, it’s exquisite, unforgettable and utterly heartbreaking.
A relatable, yet not too nauseating story that will leave you feeling good. Whether you like musicals or not, this is a must see…
