Musicals definitely aren’t my thing- I mean, I love Damien Chazelle’s style, and the cinematography was nice, along with the color scheme. This film is definitely overrated though, and I preferred Ryan Gosling to Emma Stone from an acting standpoint, but we all know J.K Simmons had the best performance in his short screen time. Although I love Chazelle as a director, Whiplash is miles ahead of this and I wasn’t struck too much with this watch
