Such an underrated film. Everyone is great in this.

]]>Pure brutality mixed with subtle wit. But wow is this messed up
]]>A dark deconstruction of a man broken up by his job which oozes in its grimy setting with phenomenal performances from Nicolas Cage and more. This is probably Scorsese’s darkest film
]]>The best film out of a plot where Nicolas Cage appears in people’s dreams
]]>An underrated Pixar gem. Charlie Day is in it.
]]>A slick, atmospheric and gritty crime thriller from David Fincher. Able to amerce you in its gritty aesthetic and great character played by Michael Fassbender. The soundtrack was mainly songs by The Smiths which are one of my favourite bands so I liked that. Top 4 of the year

It was alright. The twist that Matthew Lillard was William Acton was very predictable and the bed fort thing was very stupid and did not fit in with whatever tone this was going for and I think that’s the main problem with this is that it doesn’t know what it wants to be. The acting from Josh Hutcherson and Matthew Lillard were good in it. I like what the Jim Henson company did with the animatronics they looked good. The film should’ve showed the kills instead of cutting away from them whenever they happened so it should’ve been rated higher. The dream sequences were a bit boring after a while. But overall it wasn’t the worst but it wasn’t great either.
