Holly Hunter did this and Broadcast News in ‘87. What a queen.
Overall I really liked this! Rating would be higher but movies in a desert setting with a lot of sweat and dirt make me uncomfortable. I apologize for my brain!

I wanted to watch Endgame so I fast forwarded through the boring parts.
Ex: Thor building the axe, scenes with Thanos and Gamora.

I enjoy disposable 90 minute thrillers.
Wes Craven’s best kino.

Good movie! A little long and expectedly misogynistic but hey, whaddya gonna do?

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Soul is as insightful, clever, funny and necessary as I expected it to be.
It earns tons of bonus points for beautifully animating NYC, the cat body swap, the gorgeous score and getting some fresh perspectives and faces on screen.
Not sure why 4 stars was my gut reaction, but I’m assuming it has something to do with the fact I’m watching it at home.

Wow, this was really great!
I dug the score, the mysteries, the performances and the subtext. Soderbergh’s minimalist style has really grown on me since he’s come back, and here it’s at its most soothing.

Exactly what you think it’ll be and that’s why its so good.

Watched before Joe Biden became the President-Elect.

I admired Rebecca Hall’s performance as “Supportive Woman.”
The film should have been called Frost/Supportive Woman/Nixon, because of the integral part she played in the story.

So watching this and Borat back to back is weird because.... they’re kind of about the same thing lol.
Borat portrays a country on the border of social decay, and Revenge of the Sith, in a hilariously un-subtle way, shows us that we are in fact the baddies.
It amazes me that they actually let George make this. And how substantive it is compared to The Rise of Skywalker.
