Grandmother wolf is a side character that briefly appeared for a few episodes.

Appearance

She resembles the Big Bad Wolf from the Little Red Riding Hood story, having brown fur and wearing a nightgown. She wears a pink fluorescent nightgown and a pink cap to go on top with slippers.

Before Monica gave her a healing potion, Grandmother Wolf was quite injured and it didn’t make matters better when the witches came and cursed her. Once she drunk the potion however, she managed to walk again and cook properly.

Personality

She was quite tired and weak from being naturally sick, although after Monica healed her she was much more lively, jumping out of bed and immediately cooking for the girl and welcoming the other kids into her house willingly.

History

Grandmother wolf was originally a human, who was cursed by an evil witch and turned into a wolf.

Story

Little Red Riding Hood Arc

Grandmother wolf was expecting her grandchild, Little Red Riding Hood, to visit. She mistook Monica for Little Red Riding Hood because she was wearing a red hood, but welcomed her into her house nonetheless. Once she explains that she is a human put under a curse by a witch and that she doesn't like witches, Monica proves to her that witches can be good by giving her the potion around her neck. It doesn't break her curse, but it makes her aches and pains go away.

Eventually, Dani and the rest of the group find Monica and stay over for dinner before continuing their journey. Dani proposes mass distributing the potions to help win over the non-magic people, so they brew a large batch of them and put them into little bottles.

Series finale

Grandmother Wolf was last seen talking to an old witch, pouring some tea and eating biscuits all the while. She seems content with herself and doesn‘t hold a grudge against the witches anymore. However, she also doesn‘t seem to mind whatever appearance shes in since she is still in her wolf form.

Powers and abilities

Since the grandmother is not a witch, she does not have magical abilities but she does have assets of her own.

Cooking

Most likely cooking for her granddaughter before she was cursed, she has great cooking attributes, making meals for the group prior to them heading off.

Main characters

• Monica: Grandmother wolf initially thought she was her granddaughter, because of her red cape. After helping heal her from pains that come with old age, she is convinced that witches can be good.
• Daniela Wytte: Dani was scared of her at first, but warmed up to her after realizing she wasn't an evil monster.
• Nico: Grandmother wolf seemed to be fond of him, calling him names like "son" and saying that she "would love a grandson as cute as “him".
