Minister Joshua Sankara was a Burkinabé wizard who played as Seeker for the Burkinabé National Quidditch team, and was also briefly Burkina Faso's Minister for Magic in 2006.[1]
Biography[]
Sankara was born sometime in Burkina Faso. He likely attended Uagadou during his youth. At some point, he became the Seeker for the Burkinabé National Quidditch team for the 2006 Quidditch World Cup, during which his team got to the finals alongside France, a match that Burkina Faso would win. After his team won the World Cup, Sankara was named Minister for Magic, though he resigned two days later as he much rathered to play Quidditch than hold office at the Burkinabé Ministry of Magic.[1]
