Maria Monteith was an Australian witch who played as a Chaser on the Australian National Quidditch team during the 1994 Quidditch World Cup.[1]
Biography[]
During the 1996–1997 school year, Monteith's Chocolate Frog Card could be won by beating Xander Lofthouse in a Quidditch challenge.[2]
Etymology[]
A monteith is a large ornamental punch bowl, which has notches on it for hanging up the punch glasses. It can also be for holding wine and hanging wine glasses.
