Rafael Santos[1] was a Brazilian wizard who played as Beater for the Brazilian National Quidditch team.
Biography[]
He was the Beater for the 2014 Brazilian National Quidditch team. According to Ludovic Bagman in a report to the Daily Prophet, American Beaters Picquery and Pringle would have to "find better form" if they were to best the Brazilians Santos and Clodoaldo in their semi-final match on 4 July 2014.[2]
On the final, Brazil versus Bulgaria, Santos hit opposing Seeker Viktor Krum hard over the head with his bat on the 123rd minute. Referee Herman Junker paused the game and examined Omniocular footage to determine if a foul had been committed.[3]
