Shizuka Watanabe was a Japanese witch who played as Seeker on the Japanese National Quidditch team.

During the 1996–1997 school year, Watanabe's Chocolate Frog Card could be won by beating Dora Williams at an Exploding Snap challenge.

Etymology

The name "Shizuka" is from Japanese 静 (shizu) "quiet" combined with 夏 (ka) "summer" or 香 (ka) "smell, perfume". However, it can also simply mean, "quiet", from the adjective 静か(Shizuka).
