Gegeneis[1] is a minor recurring antagonist from the Hercules TV Series. He's a giant 4-armed Yeti who, with the help of Sea Nymphs, lures in sailors and eats them. He is also one of the many children of Typhon and Echidna.
History[]
Hercules and the Argonauts[]
Gegeneis is first seen sitting on this throne getting an update from some of his Nymphs. He moans the word "feed", and the Nymphs tell him that they are working on it. After Hercules accidentally knocks down a boulder, Gegeneis notices them and excitedly exclaims that they're going to be his next meal. He then jumps up the the cliffside that Hercules and his accomplice Jason were standing on and confronts them. The two run into a crevasse where Gegeneis can't reach them, and so he comes back to the Nymphs sulking. They then remind him that he still has the other sailors to eat.
Later on, the Nymphs lead the sailors to the feast that they had promised them, which turned out to be a feast for Gegeneis, the sailors being the meal. While the sailors were dangling over Gegeneis' mouth, Jason and Hercules ram into him with their boat. Just when Hercules comes in to ram him a second time, Gegeneis destroys the ship. The Nymphs then encourage him to eat Jason, by Jason is able to avoid his advances. Soon, Hercules is able to rescue everyone with the ship and get away. Gegeneis then announces that he is still hungry and that he needs to feed, causing the Nymphs to back away slowly.
Hercules and the Big Games[]
Gegeneis appears along with his siblings being led by his mother, Echidna to go and eat a bunch of humans at a stadium. After invading the stadium, Gegeneis beings to devour some of the people, but has them punched out of his mouth by Hercules. Hercules then proceeds to throw spears at him, pinning him to the side of the stadium.

- He is based on the Gegenees, 6-armed giants that live on the same island as the Doliones. They were fought of by Hercules with help from the Argonauts.
