Jil Tracy (Republican Party) is a member of the Illinois State Senate, representing District 50. She assumed office on January 11, 2023. Her current term ends on January 13, 2027.
Tracy (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Illinois State Senate to represent District 50. She won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Tracy served as State Representative for Illinois House of Representatives District 94 from 2006 to 2015. She served as State Senator for Illinois State Senate District 47 from 2017-2023.
Tracy ran for Lieutenant Governor of Illinois in the 2014 elections. As of 2014, candidates for governor and lieutenant governor in Illinois run on a single ticket starting in the primary election. Tracy lost in the Republican primary election with her gubernatorial running-mate, Sen. Kirk Dillard, on March 18.[1][2]
Biography
Jil Tracy lives in Quincy, Illinois. Tracy's career experience includes working as a city attorney with Mt. Sterling, Illinois, and an assistant Illinois attorney general. She has served as a co-founding board member of the Brown County United Way, on the Mt. Sterling Park District Board, and on the John Wood Community College Foundation Board.[3]

Tracy ran for election to the office of Illinois Lieutenant Governor. She lost in the Republican primary on March 18, 2014, on a ticket with state Sen. Kirk Dillard, her gubernatorial running-mate.[1] The general election took place on November 4, 2014.
