I scored on this 2 part layering cover plate garage sailing! [I love when I find good products for this hobby]. I used the gorgeous Aqua Card Stock [80#], along with the Basis Blue Card Stock [80#] for the layers.

The Male Room Challenge #192 - Kinetic Card
I'll be honest, I did have to look up what this meant; movement.
I'm still working on Christmas cards and remembered a spinning front panel card. Perfect!
I used this super fun textured card stock; Bonsai Green from CutCardStock, for my colored base. It's a lovely Christmas green.
After I hot foiled the geometric background [Pink Fresh Geo Blocks Hot Foil Plate], I used some Silver Glitter card stock for the framing, hanging snowflake, and sentiment. Another card for my stash!
Your turn. Come on over to The Male Room Challenge #192. You have all month to join in.

Cut Card Stock Day
For today, I made an ABC [Anything but a card] project to show you another [very useful] product that CCS sells; Score-Tape Premium double-sided adhesive - 27 yds.
I used the Lessebo Colors Premium Salt Water Blue Cardstock and some stashed dp to make this.
To adhere this project together I used the score tape. I love that you can just rip the pieces off the roll rather then having to cut with scissors. It makes it so much easier [for me].
It even has it's own stand!
The video is HERE
for this adorable desk calendar/post it holder [if you want to make one too]. I use projects like this for small thank you gifts over the
holidays. Everybody can use a calendar, but having a pad of post its - and a small pen - oh yes please!]
I hope you enjoyed today's project~

Cut Card Stock Day
I am continuing with Christmas cards all this month.
For this card I started with the very Christmasy Astrobright Re-Entry Red 100 lb Card Stock. The heavier weight is so perfect when mailing cards.
For the center stamped panel I used Classic Crest NATURAL card stock. These papers take ink just perfectly.
You can check out the CCS store HERE. They do carry other products! I will showcase a few next week!

Yes, I used the Classic CREST Recycled 100 BRIGHT WHITE 130 lb 8.5x11 Card Stock for my card base. This card stock has become a staple for ALL my card bases. I LOVE the weight!
I also used Astrobright Re-Entry Red 100 lb Card Stock 25 pack, and added some white embossing powder for faux snow. For the shadow of the MC, I used the Gold 8.5x11 Glitter 74 lb Discount Card Stock. The leaves, I used the Royal Sundance Linen 80 lb EMERALD 8.5x11 Card Stock. [This color is rather difficult to photograph accurately I must say]
I hope you enjoyed my month of CutCardStock projects! Have you checked out the store yet? I'm telling you, it's worth checking out~

I have used two of my favorites for this card; mini slimline, and geometric. Yep, I am very happy with this card.
I started out with the awesome Classic Crest Recycled 100 Bright White 130# for the card base. [This heavy weight makes it so easy to stand it up for display - I love that!]. I went on and used these other colors;

CutCardStock Day
I don't think I have really gotten across how fabulous this paper is. The cost alone is what won me over. The average, you get 20 sheets [8.5x11] for only $6.95. They offer many colors too. Have you popped on over to CutCardStock to check it out? You won't be disappointed! No affiliate here, just an opinion.
All that said, today's card used a few of the colors.
The card base is Classic Crest Recycled 100 Bright White 130#. I totally love using an extra heavy card stock for my card bases! This is a pack of 25 for $15.95. Pretty good for 50 cards! 😀 I cut and embossed a panel of Basis Blue 80#. [25 sheets - $7.95]
I went on to a die cut a doily using the DCS Linen Blue Calico, 80#. [20 sheets - $5.95] (This paper has a lovely texture on it too). I cut some stripes for even more layering, using the Blue Calico, Lessebo Amazon Dark Teal 83#. [25 sheets - $8.95] and for a fun pop of color, Astrobright Solar Yellow 80#. [25 sheets - $5.95]. Finally, I stamped and Copic colored the floral image, and added a hot foiled HB. Yep, I am quite happy with the end results 😀
See you next week~
