Damien was a camper on Total Drama Island (2023) as a member of the Ferocious Trout. He returned for Total Drama Island (2024) as a member of Team Rat Face.
Personality
Damien is an intelligent and resourceful young man who is easy to get along with. His charm and friendliness leads him to be well-liked by the majority of the campers. However, he is also very cautious about his surroundings and has a tendency to panic. His more logical and pragmatic mindset leads him to often be flabbergasted by the antics of his fellow campers.
Damien entered the competition after making a bet with his friends, and is initially very confident and enthusiastic. However, due to never seeing the show before, Damien is shocked by the physically draining and often life-threatening challenges. He constantly underestimates how far the show will go to put their contestants in danger. After nearly dying on multiple occasions, Damien tries to get himself eliminated to the point of making a campaign to get himself voted off.
Despite Damien's initial reluctance to participate in challenges, he proves himself to be a valuable asset due to his intelligence. In Jurassic Fart, Damien uses his knowledge to help save the team from the raptors. After this, Damien's confidence returns and he starts gunning to win the entire competition. Unfortunately, his campaign to get himself eliminated betrays him when his team finally complies with his wishes and votes him off, right after he decides that he wants to stay.
Because of his experiences on Total Drama Island (2023), when Damien returns for the next season, he is shown to be much more competitive and somewhat more confident than he was last season. His caring and kind personality had also managed to get most of his teammates by his side after a great betrayal, courtesy of a "friend".
Total Drama Island (2023)
Damien comes on the show, having not watched it at all beforehand.
Damien is the sixth contestant introduced in Meet the Victims. In his audition, he explains that he never heard of the show before, but his friends dared him to join in order to get the money. As he was talking, his beaker explodes and he runs around in a panic. When Damien gets on the island, he immediately asks Chris for the money, and Chris calls him "fun" once he learns that he lacks knowledge about the show while Chef Hatchet takes pity on him. Like everyone, he's disgusted by Ripper's bare behind, and told the producers through his confessional that they can't let this air on TV.

In Pirates of the Cabbagean, Damien doesn't play along with Ripper stealing Millie's notebook and gives it back instead. During the challenge, Damien is terrified to learn there are sharks in the water. After being shot out of the ship by Frogs of Death, Damien is saved by Scary Girl who shoots the shark to save him so that he can scream again. Damien, like everyone else on shore, is horrified as he witnesses a shark seemingly injure Zee by ripping off his leg. He yells out for somebody to call an ambulance for him, only to be confused as to why Zee's taking his "injury" so well. His leg is quickly revealed to be a prosthetic, and he is uninjured.
Damien is happy to be out of the challenge, only to realize he's not being a team player.
In Drown Town Abbey, in the cafeteria, he and Chase are sitting next to Zee as he is telling them how he "lost" his leg by bungee jumping out of a helicopter into a piranha pit. Damien is horrified on why Zee would do such a dangerous stunt, unaware Zee is a congenital amputee. Damien is selected to be the one his team has to rescue from the tank. As it starts to fill, Damien realizes how tough Total Drama is and declares that he's quitting. However, he learns he can't because the contract he signed has a rule where anyone who quits owes the show a million dollars, which he doesn't have. From this point on, Damien decides to get himself eliminated.

In Numbskull Island, while considering who to choose for their next ally, Millie points out to Priya that Damien would only vote for himself. After claiming MK has escaped, Damien spends the challenge being chased around by Scary Girl on a jackhammer. When the Ferocious Trout lose the challenge thanks to her, he begs to be eliminated but to no avail. Despite this, he felt insulted when Chef pointed out that him running and screaming cost them the challenge, pointing out he didn't really have a choice. When Priya wonders why Scary Girl was eliminated instead of Ripper, he informs her that he voted for himself, to which she and Millie nonchalantly reply that they knew.
Damien comes up with an idea to save his teammates, an act that restores his willingness to compete.
In Jurassic Fart, Damien continues to campaign his own elimination, making buttons for the cause. He later explains why beans cause farting, but Ripper calls him a nerd. Eventually, he shoves a pot of beans in a raptor's mouth, saving his team and causing the kitchen to blow up. This gives him enough confidence to be more willing to play the game for the money. Unfortunately, he forgot to tell his teammates this and he was voted out that night as gratitude for saving them. Damien sadly takes note of the irony of how he wanted to be voted out before being taken away by the Drone of Despair, which he says is not safe.
Damien returns as Priya's helper in Magma Cum Laude, which they are both glad about. However, he freaks out when Chris reveals that the lake the finalists have to cross is made of lava. Chris dismisses him saying he's not the one competing.

Damien returns in The Pink Painter Strikes Again. Similar to last season, he keeps his scared aspect, as shown when he screams as Chris is about to drop them from the plane, and on the dock, he asks himself why he even came back and then worries about the challenge as Chris explains it later. He is placed on the Rat Faces after Priya picks him. He worries that Chris has added the plot twist of raptors or rabid tapeworms in this challenge, but is told to not worry as it's only Day 1. During the challenge, Damien unfortunately has a murder hornet land on him: this freaks him out as he tries to get it away, causing him to get eliminated from the challenge.

In Taking It to the Rim Reaper, Damien chooses to use a blindfold while sliding down since he desires to take more risks now. For a while, he does well, even scoring for his team. When Damien and Millie have a plan on how to win the challenge for their team, Millie betrays his trust, sending him down the Death Boot. This leaves him terribly injured. As Axel carries Damien back to camp, he’s too terrified to even form coherent sentences.
In You Poor Saps, Damien and his team talk about what Millie did. When Millie jokes about what she did, he gets mad, calling her a "Ripper" and has to be restrained by Zee. Eventually though, Damien decided to forgive her after she apologizes to him.. Unfortunately for Millie, the rest of the team didn't know that and voted her out.
During the challenge in Choosin' for a Bruisin', it was revealed that Damien would rather go a week without toilet paper than camp in a graveyard for a month. He explained that he was terrified of hauntings and couldn't do anything about them but he figures he can wash his butt instead. However, Nichelle was deeply surprised at this and Julia was utterly disgusted.
In Ice to Beat You, Damien walks in with Nichelle in Team Skunk Butt's cabin saying they will beat them in the challenge and laughs at Nichelle's jab at Julia that she is a small-town actor. When Chris calls the campers to discuss the challenge, Damien calls him a bad person because he imported the last iceberg from the North Pole. During the challenge, Damien is terrified a seal bites his arm until Nichelle took care of it. At elimination, he is surprised that Nichelle quits when getting a contract from Hollywood. Nichelle responds with that it is a 3 picture movie deal and quits the competition. The contract runs out to be fake and made by Julia to get back at her from the previous episode.
When Chris reveals the merge is happening in Canoe Believe It? and an immunity idol is now in play, Damien is determined to find it. He, along most people, are angry that Team Skunk Butt is revealed to be cheating in the previous challenges. Damien pairs up with Zee to canoe to the challenge location.. The challenge of the day is the campers have to joust one another in the lake on canoes. Zee reveals to everyone that Damien is a "level 8 squire," much to his annoyance. He knocks Zee, and then Julia in the second run, out of the tourney. His final opponent is Bowie. Everyone believes he will lose until he defeats him, winning him immunity.
In the beginning of Fun Fight at the O'Cake Corral, he finds the immunity idol. Chris places him on a team with Priya, Caleb, and Zee to make a cake, the winning team gets immunity. When getting the ingredients for the cake, all the campers fight one another, and Damien almost hits Wayne with a trident, confusing Chef and Chris where he got it from.
In Haulin' n' Ballin', Damien hides the immunity idol to a different location because he got a not saying that someone knows he got the idol. It cuts to Julia revealing she wrote a letter to everyone about the immunity idol. Zee reveals that he hasn't changed his underwear since the beginning of the season along with other people's secrets, voting Zee off.
In Breaking Up is Hard to Do, he, along with the Hockey Bros, comfort Priya about Caleb only flirting with her to be in an alliance to do. He believes what he did was very messed up.
At the start of the episode, Damien hides the idol near the elimination ceremony campfire. Throughout the memory challenge, he and Julia chose the same square, making her believe that he is copying her. Eventually, Julia sabotages Damien, knocking his tablet and making him chose a different square. He gets punished by a giant Scary Girl skull. The next round, Damien accidentally chooses the wrong square and falls in a pit of bees, and as a result, gets disqualified from the challenge. At elimination, Damien is at the bottom two along with Priya. The final marshmallow goes to Priya. The Hockey Bros then come up and hug Damien say they couldn't vote for Caleb and Priya since they made up, but it cuts to Priya angrily staring at Caleb. Damien then says it is okay and pulls out the idol, however he pulls up a plunger instead. He is confused and believes someone stole it and tries to run away, however, the Drone of Despair grabs him and pulls him away from the island.
He is mentioned in Working K9 to 5 as the Hockey Bros felt bad for voting off Damien.
During the finale, Damien joins Caleb's team, however it is because he is against Julia, along with all of his supporters and he also found out that she stole his immunity idol.

Damien explains in a school lab that his friends dared him to make an audition for Total Drama, even though he's never heard of it. He only agreed to it because of the million dollars. He doesn't think it'll be that hard, but then a test tube he was holding is lit on fire.

- Damien's request for his team to vote him off only to then change his mind to no avail is similar to that of real life Survivor contestant Zane Knight. Both of them asked for their team to vote them off upon losing a challenge and both were shocked when their teams actually carried out their request (though unlike Damien who merely wanted to leave the show to be safe before besting his fears, Knight requested his boot as part of a failed strategy to find potential allies).
