Jordie Hansen is a contestant from Australian Survivor: Blood v Water and Australian Survivor: Heroes v Villains.
In Blood v Water, Jordie quickly emerged as a massive strategic threat, most notably masterminding Sandra Diaz-Twine's elimination after the tribe switch. As time went on however, his over-the-top personality began to grate on his tribemates. A crucial immunity win saved him, though it came at the expense of his brother Jesse Hansen. Following Jesse's blindside, Jordie shifted his game to one of self-preservation, winning challenges and igniting a feud with Sam Gash. Despite being voted out unanimously, Jordie was able to return from Purgatory and eliminate former allies Jordan Schmidt and Sam. Eventually, Jordie's luck ran out, and he was once again unanimously voted out at the final six for being the biggest threat remaining.
Returning as a Villain in Heroes v Villains, Jordie tempered his "Joker" persona and integrated as a key member of his tribe as it spiraled into a streak of immunity losses. Though he initially aligned with Simon Mee, Jordie started to distance himself from Simon and sided with George Mladenov's alliance instead. However, George exposed Jordie's duplicity and permanently fractured his and Simon's relationship heading into the tribe switch. Outnumbered, Jordie's decision to not play a Hidden Immunity Idol that he received from his ally Shonee Bowtell allowed the former Heroes to call his bluff and vote him out on Day 21.

Jordie, 25, Landscaper, Victoria
Jesse has a tight bond with his older brother, Jordie who is playing alongside him and although the two claim to be polar opposites of each other, they are dedicated to becoming the perfect team.
As a landscaper by trade, Jordie is used to digging holes and getting himself out of them. And despite the ease of which he makes friends, Jordie knows Survivor is about more than just being mates and is about understanding people on a deeper level.
What's your favourite place in the world?
A place on the west coast of South Australia on the Nullarbor which I can't name because it's a local secret! Beautiful location with good waves and fishing and lovely locals.
Have you done any training or planning before starting?
The Joker is returning with his usual grin in the middle of chaos but also a little bit of maturity. Landscaper and fan favourite from Australian Survivor: Blood V Water, Jordie is taking his lessons from last season to play a new, more Villainous game.
"The Joker is back however I've learnt from last time. I'm still going to have fun, fun is the number one priority but to try and at least seem a little bit more responsible so people believe I'm more trustworthy and are happy to put their faith in me. Playing Australian Survivor: Blood V Water with my brother was hard because every decision you make can directly affect their game as well. But now the only person I can ruin the game for is myself, so there's nothing holding me back."
Since leaving Charters Towers, Jordie met his now fiancée and they are having a baby which is giving him even more reason to win, saying, "To win and have that security for my family would mean everything. My decisions aren't just based around myself but around my new family. It would mean everything to have the title after being so close last time and know that it wasn't an accident, there are a lot of reasons I want to win this time."
Jordie also knows that returning players can come in with targets on their backs and is hoping his social game will help him make alliances quickly – while having some fun! He says, "I think the Villains are going to be a good bunch to hang out with because we're all going to having fun and stirring the pot. It's going to be way more fun than being on the Heroes tribe, that's for sure!"[2]Australian Survivor[]
Blood v Water[]
Split from his brother Jesse Hansen and put on the Water tribe, Jordie started the game off well by joining the majority led by Nina Twine to blindside Andy Meldrum at the first Tribal Council due to her not trusting him; Andy was voted out in a 9-2-1 vote. The Water tribe would lose yet another Immunity Challenge; this time Jordie joined forces with Chrissy Zaremba to vote out Briana Goodchild who was playing the game too hard for Chrissy's liking. Brianna was voted out 9-2. The Water tribe would win the next immunity and all was well for Jordie, but after Sophie Cachia joined the Water tribe after a twist he was part of the movement to get her out as quick as possible. Water would lose yet again, but Jordie didn't get his way this time with Alex Frost quitting the game due to a back injury. Jordie convinced Alex to wait a day but it was already decided by then.
After a tribe switch, Jordie was swapped over to the Blood tribe where the old Water members held the majority. Jordie was quick to form up a plan to get rid of Sandra Diaz-Twine due to her being a massive threat. Here Jordie would form a majority male alliance on the tribe with Nina, Mark Wales, Jordan Schmidt, Josh Millgate, and David Goodchild. After the loss, Jordie's attempt to get rid of Sandra paid off with her daughter Nina voting her too. The Blood tribe would win next immunity but they lost again after a Jordan blew the challenge. Jordan, Josh, and Jordie decided to go after Amy Ong after she led a campaign to get rid of Jordan. She tried to convince some of the women on the tribe to vote with her but Nina followed Jordie and voted Amy out at the Tribal Council. Things wouldn't go well for Jordie here on out as Nina was medically evacuated after she hurt herself on a challenge. Blood won a reward and Jordie saw Mark find an idol which he quickly confronted him about. At the final 14 Jordie forged a plan to split votes on the two women on the tribe, Mel Chiang and KJ Austin. The plan worked as Mel managed to beat Shay's boyfriend Ben Watson in the fire-making challenge.
At the merge, Jordie would reunite with his brother Jesse and the pair quickly joined the majority alliance with Mark's wife Sam Gash joining them suit. Jordie managed to blindside physical and social threat Khanh Ong after what he would do after he would find out about Amy. Jordies alliance sided with him and Khan was blindsided with an idol in his pocket. Jordie also wanted to split up the duo of the Chiang twins which he would get his way as Mel was voted out at the next Tribal Council. At this point however, Jordie would go on an immunity streak; however he started to get paranoid about Mark's rising control in the game so much so that he told Jesse that Mark had a Hidden Immunity Idol. Jesse also found an idol but Sam managed to convince him to give her it so that she and Mark would have more control. Because Jordie had won immunity, Mark and Sam decided to go for Jesse instead. Jordie was blindsided when Jesse was taken out by the majority over Josh. Jesse told Jordie about the idols before he left so he would go and lead a campaign with the minority alliance to vote out Sam after she stole the idol from Jesse. However, this would prove futile as Jordie remained public enemy number one.
Jordie won the Immunity Challenge saving himself and Shay would be the next boot. Jordie would lose immunity to Jordan and his rallies to vote off Sam didn't work as he was blindsided by everyone. Not before meeting Shay at the purgatory switch were he created an Alliance with the females voted out there. Jordie would soon re enter the game and he managed to get control over his tribe after the auction where KJ would play her advantage and Jordan was blindsided because of it meaning the Minority would become the Majority after David switched sides during the tribal. Him and his alliance planned to target Sam next where he finally got his way with Sam heading out not before giving Mark the second idol giving him much more power. Jordie got the majority of the votes against Mark but due to his idol play at the final 7 there was a tie between him and David. Fearing of going to rocks Chrissy and Shay flipped on David sending him home giving Jordie another chance in the game. But his departure would come right after due to him being recognized as a threat he was blindside in a 5-1 vote giving him 6th Place.
