Hayley Beth Leake is the Sole Survivor of Australian Survivor: Brains v Brawn (2021). She later competed on Australian Survivor: Heroes v Villains.

Hayley proved to be a well-rounded player during her time Brains v Brawn, both dominating several votes and winning multiple Immunity Challenges. She was able to orchestrate different early moves, including the eliminations of Joey McCann and Kez McGee, but revealing George Mladenov as a double agent would lead to her being voted out unanimously. She would be saved by the surprise Redemption Rock twist, upon which she would course correct and emerge as a dominant physical player, being immune at five Tribal Councils and defeating several of the season's most physical players. In the end, the jury would respect her game more than that of the purely-strategic George, granting her a decisive 7-2 win at the Final Two.

Returning with arguably the greatest target in Heroes v Villains, Hayley focused on making subtle moves and staying under the radar until the merge. There, she joined up with her fellow Brains v Brawn castmate George to take control of the Fa'amolemole tribe. Hoping to separate her moves from George's, Hayley took advantage of a split vote to blindside Shaun Hampson instead of George's intended target Simon Mee. However, this backfired when Nina Twine revealed Hayley's duplicity to George, who then led the charge to blindside Hayley at the final seven.

Master charmer and academic researcher Hayley is a switched-on Australian Survivor superfan who plans to excel in the game of competitive manipulation. As a professional Pain Researcher, her job is to administer placebo psychological therapy to patients and test the brain's response to treatment. Also wielding a degree in physiotherapy, Hayley plans to make friends with her healing hands.

After winning Australian Survivor: Brains V Brawn in the Outback, Hayley knows coming into this game, she'll have a target on her back. She says, "In Survivor, the worst thing is to think you're invincible. I know my weaknesses, and I know how to use them. I've already been through the worst in Survivor. Everyone voted me out, sent me to Redemption Rock, and I thought there was no hope of winning. And I came back and won the game.

"I'm really glad to be back here as a Hero. I'm hoping my tribe sees me as a Hero of Survivor, and not as a Villain. Even though I obviously can be a little bit of a Villain. It was a dream come true to play Survivor once, let alone to win the game! I can't believe that happened and I'm still, a year later, processing it, and now I'm on a gorgeous island in paradise and I've got a chance to win it again. It is a fan's dream come true."

Famous for her ability to push through excruciating pain and strategise a strong game play at the same time, Hayley has experience taking out a few Villains in her time but is also ready to hold onto her crown, saying, "A few people have won Australian Survivor now, but no one's done it twice. And if anybody's going to do that, it's gonna be me.

• Hayley is the second winner of Australian Survivor and the first in the Network 10 incarnation to be voted out and return to the game, after Guy Leech in Celebrity Survivor Australia.
• Hayley is tied with Brooke Jowett and Emmett Pugh for the most individual Immunity Challenges won in a single season, with five. However, unlike Brooke and Emmett, Hayley won all of her Immunity Challenges exclusively in the post-merge.
