The Battle of Crombach Nebula took place sometime between 22 BBY and 19 BBY in the Crombach Nebula during the Clone Wars between Galactic Republic and Separatist Alliance forces. During the battle, Jedi Master Wom-Nii Gnaden participated in the engagements and utilized a Republic NTB-630 naval bomber against the Separatist Munificent-class star frigate Tide of Progress XII. However, Gnaden was killed after his bomber collided with the Separatist frigate and left a mark within the latter's starboard hull as a result.

Behind the scenes

The Battle of Crombach Nebula was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in the 2018 reference book Star Wars: Complete Vehicles. In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the Battle of Crombach Nebula was introduced in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith Incredible Cross-Sections, a 2005 reference book authored by Curtis Saxton.
