Quest Item

In Phoenotopia and Phoenotopia: Awakening, Quest Items are items that are mostly used for completing Side Quests by delivering them to certain characters. In the original game, they take up Inventory space like with Consumable Items, but this has been changed in the remake and most of them do not count towards the Inventory limit now.

To complete any quest, Quest Item have to be selected via the "give" option in the menu.

Most Quest Items are now automatically handed over when applicable recipients are talked to, with the exception of submitting Lunar Artifacts to Astrid and Consumable Items to Chef Basil.

Trivia

• Most Quest Items are not renewable in both games
  • In Phoenotopia, only the purchasable Quest Items are renewable
  • In Phoenotopia: Awakening, only the Turtle, Amberite Ore, Golem Core, Gold Dragon Scale, and Lunar Artifacts are renewable. Perhaps due to this, they are also the only Quest Items that take up Inventory space.
  • Due to their renewability, selling Gold Bars, Gold Dragon Scales and Lunar Artifacts can be profitable
• In Phoenotopia: Awakening, Ouroboros Scrolls, Gold Dragon Scales and the Trading Sequence items are the only Quest Items which do not lead to any reward of Heart Ruby, Energy Gem, or Moonstone.
