The Australian National Quidditch team was the Quidditch team that represented Australia in international Quidditch tournaments. They won the 1966 Quidditch World Cup[1]. They were also known participants in the 1994 Quidditch World Cup.[2]
Uniform[]
The Australian Quidditch robes were green with a golden kangaroo on the front and back.
Emblem[]
The team's emblem was green and yellow. It featured a gloved hand reaching for the Snitch. On top was a sailing ship, presumably one of the ships of the First Fleet.
Team special move[]
The Team started its 20 point team special move with Chaser Matthew Echunga leading Chasers Maria Monteith and Kenneth Hastings, and Beater Kelly Whakkaarangapawarau. Echunga and Monteith passed the Quaffle to each other, avoiding passing Chasers, then Hastings received the Quaffle and scored. Echunga then passed the Quaffle to Monteith and she scored another goal.
Stadium[]
The Australian Quidditch Stadium was set in a rocky canyon hidden in The Central Australian Outback. Most of the pitch, including the stands, were coloured orange. There were flags set around the stands that bore the colours white and red with two kangaroos.
