Wild Stats Level-up
Type in values of a wild creature to see on which stats it's emphasized. Green values on a high-level creature are very good for breeding. If you have already tamed your creature you can try to recover the breeding stats with an external tool.[1]
The stat-calculator does not work in the mobile-view, see here for alternatives: Apps
Note that after the creature is tamed it gets bonuses on some stats depending on the taming effectiveness. This makes it hard to retrieve the levels on a tamed creature, so this tool is only for wild ones, but gives a first impression, how well the stats are distributed.
Combat[]
This section describes how to fight against the Brute X-Spino.
General[]
The brute x-spino is arguably the hardest brute creature to fight the battle is like a more difficult version of the Brute Mammoth. it has a large AoE, high knock back, very high damage, about 230k health, high speed, and damage reduction on Alpha difficulty. a pack of 5 Rexes have a low chance of survival because of its low speed and the brute x-spino's knock back but a pack of 10+ can attack from all directions. The Allosaurus bleed strategy also has a low chance of working as the Brute X-Spino is pretty quick.
Strategy[]
GAMMA
You can fight the brute x-spino with Rexes on beta as you do increased damage. A single high level Giga can do the trick but watch the rage meter. and the dinos at the end are not too much of a problem as they are far weaker and slower.
BETA
If you want to fight it with Rexes, a pack of 5 or more is suggested. A good level Ferox can be useful as it can throw boulders and be given helmets for armor. Another strategy is to use a tanky animal like a Stego to distract it while others attack from behind. A Giga can be usd to take it out solo but there is a high chance of it enraging. you also can ride a Bloodstalker, cling to a tree, and mow it down with a high quality ranged weapon.
ALPHA
The alpha version should be treated like a boss level. A pack of 10+ Rexes will do the trick but have a high chance of dying. a pack of Gigas is highly recommended as they have very high damage. By doing other missions such as "Just a Hop, Skip, and a Jump Away¨ sometimes give Magmasaur saddle blueprints with <300 armor, these can be very valuable in this battle. a Tek Hover Skiff with many turrets placed on it can defeat it.
The previous Bloodstalker strategy will use too much time unless you use a high quality Tek Phase Pistol. Beware that the Tek Pistol has a short range so it will require you to get closer to the brute to damage it. A similar but much more risky strategy will be to use an Argentavis with Grappling Hooks if you are doing the mission solo, have no Bloodstalker, or there is nothing close enough to hang from with a Bloodstalker.(If more than one person is available for the mission, ignore the following steps and just have one person fly while the other shoots from the Agrentavis.) Once you find the Brute Spino fly above it and jump off the Argy and in quick succession grapple yourself to the bird and hang just out of reach of the Spino to keep it from moving too much and shoot. Repeat this until the mission completes and bring lots of Element.
Another strategy is to bring a pair of mate boosted Allosaurus and utilize it's bleed to diminish its health. Once your Allosaurus applies the bleed to the Spino, quickly run into its tail and keep bleeding, if it stands up, run away for a short distance until it switches back to quadrupedal stance, then come back to its tail and keep bleeding until it runs or dies.
Weaponry[]
Ranged weapons can be used while your pack attacks it but NEVER attempt this mission on foot as it can kill you in one hit.
Dangers[]
The brute x-spino does about >700 on its quadrupedal stance and >900 on its bipedal stance and can attack very quickly this means it can kill survivors and tames very quickly. It also has on average 230k health so it can take a lot of punishment combined with the fact it has damage reduction on alpha. it has a gargantuan AoE.
It has very high speed and can outrun players on its bipedal stance.
Weakness[]
Even the toughest brutes have weaknesses. Tts herculean size makes it very easy to hit and a shotgun can hit it from a distance.
It can be distracted easily and can be hit from behind while you pack attacks it.
Its accomplices at the end are mercifully easy to defeat.
