Aberrant Creatures are a variant of normal Creatures that are found on Aberration, mutated by the elements of the ARK. Compared to their standard versions, Aberrant Creatures have 4% less health, deal 6% more damage and glow in the dark. Aberrant creatures are unable to breed with their non-aberrant versions.

All Aberrant creatures can be distinctively identified by its additional glowing mark in the dark or night (which are mutate-able along with its body region). Moreover, some of the Aberrants have shown signs of immunity to Radiation within the Molten Element Regions.

There are 480 Aberrant Creatures, 472 of them released and 8 yet to be released (including variants).

Notes

• Aberrant Creatures are the first variations added into Ark via Expansion Pack.
• The  Giant Bee is the only non-exclusive creature on Aberration that does not have an Aberrant variant. The Queen Bee can not be thrown out of a cryopod on Aberration.
• The Aberrant variant for the  Coelacanth has a typo in the spelling of "Aberrant". It is spelled "Abberant" instead of "Aberrant".
• Both  Aberrant Araneo and  Aberrant Dimorphodon were very rare spawns in Aberration. They spawn more frequently within the aberration depths in Valguero.
  •  Aberrant Megalania does not spawn on Aberration but can be found on Fjördur.
• the Aberrant creatures are one of the only things to not have a exclusive dossier since it is variant with the others being the  Attack Drone and the  Defense Unit.
