Spidey and his Amazing Friends is an American-Canadian computer-animated Marvel superhero series. It premiered on Disney Jr. on August 6, 2021. After the series premiere, the series was renewed for a second season, which premiered on August 19, 2022. This was followed by a season three renewal on June 15, 2022, a fourth season renewal on June 13, 2023, a fifth season renewal on February 27, 2025, and a sixth season renewal on June 7 that same year.

The series inspired two other preschool Marvel shows, a spin-off titled Iron Man and his Awesome Friends and the upcoming Avengers: Mightiest Friends.

Plot

Our favorite friendly neighborhood web-slinger is used to working alone, but now, Peter Parker (AKA Spidey), must discover what it takes to become a truly amazing hero: being a spider friend who works well with others. Together with his friends, Miles Morales (AKA Spin) and Gwen Stacy (AKA Ghost-Spider), they will team up with other superheroes, such as Black Panther, Ms. Marvel, her dog Lockjaw, Hulk, Iron Man, Ant-Man, Wasp, Reptil, Squirrel Girl, The Thing, his partner H.E.R.B.I.E., White Tiger, Moon Girl, her T-Rex Devil Dinosaur, Captain America, and Jeff the Land Shark on heroic adventures across their home of New York City and beyond, while fighting evil foes, such as Rhino, Doc Ock, Green Goblin, Electro, Trapster, Black Cat, Lizard, Sandman, Arnim Zola, and Hydro-Man. Along the way, they will learn that teamwork is the best way to save the day.

• This is the first Marvel television series to be made for Disney Jr.
  • It is also the second Marvel television show for preschoolers after Marvel Super Hero Adventures.
    • Coincidentally, both of these Marvel shows were also co-animated by Atomic Cartoons.
• The title is, of course, a nod to the classic 1981 series Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends.
  • The series slogan, "Go Webs Go", is a possible reference to a line said by Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) before he swings with his webs for the first time in Spider-Man (2002).
• This is also known to be the final program to air on Disney Jr. in Southeast Asia & Hong Kong before its closure on October 1, 2021.
• Marvel Studios took over production on the series starting with Season 2, marking the first Marvel Studios production unrelated to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as well as the first Marvel Studios production to not to involve Kevin Feige.
• Like the Marvel Rising incarnation, Gwen has Gwen Poole's partially dyed pink highlights in her hair.
• This is the first Marvel animated show since M.O.D.O.K. to not receive Funko figures.
