Synopsis[]
When Peter glues himself to Gwen with his new web formula, the two of them need to adapt quickly.
Plot[]
At WEB-Quarters, Gwen is doing her drumming while Peter is working on a new extra sticky web formula. He is trying to be very careful with the ingredients but the loud and catching beating of Gwen's drumming makes him knock all his chemicals over, making a huge mess. Gwen apologizes and helps Peter clean up. They unkowingly get some of the web chemicals on their hands, and when they do a high-five upon agreeing on finding a solution to do what they like in each others company they get stuck together with extra sticky webbing. They try to pull themselves free, but the webbing turns out to be a lot sticker than they realize. Peter cannot use his Web-Off formula because he has run out. He tries to tear it off with some plyers, but it does not work. TRACE-E tries to karate chop it, but ends up bouncing off. Just then, they recieve a Spidey Alert from WEB-STER: Green Goblin and Rhino are heading for the central bank. Peter and Gwen put getting unstuck on hold, and with much difficulty, swing into action.
Because Spidey and Ghost-Spider are still stuck together, they have to work together in order to get round the city. They take turns to shoot their webs to swing through the city. With much team effort, the Spiders make it to the bank and catch Green Goblin and Rhino with a safe full of money. The Spiders have trouble battling Rhino as they are still stuck together, but they manage to make it work and dodge his attacks. Gobby and Rhino also seem unable to work together. Gobby wants to escape with the save, but Rhino wants to stay and fight the Spiders. So, Gobby grabs the safe and flies away without Rhino. But not before instructing him to meet up at their secret sport where they intend to split the loot between themselves. The Spiders chase after Gobby, but he gets far ahead. Knowing they are going to meet up at a secret spot, the Spiders decide to follow Rhino.
Gobby notices the Spiders are following Rhino. He orders him to lose them, but Rhino refuses to listen. And soon the two of them stop to argue. Eventually, Rhino cooperates with Gobby's orders and takes the Spiders on a wild goose chase in order to lose them. Noticing earlier their lack of teamwork, the Spiders decide to use this to their advantage by convincing Rhino that Green Goblin has no intention of giving him his cut of the loot. They catch up with Rhino and easilly convince him that Gobby is going to double cross him. He angry heads to their secret meeting spot, forgetting to luring the Spiders away.
They find Gobby in an alley unfairly splitting the money in the safe between Rhino and himself. Rhino shows up and so does the Spiders. Gobby tries to escape and Rhino tries to get his share of the loot. But the Spiders stick them together with their webs. They are unable to break free from each other due to how sticky the webbing is. With their plans foiled, the Spiders swing home, leaving the two villains stuck together. Upon returning to WEB-Quarters, Peter mixes together some more web removing formula which dissolves the webbing that was holding him and Gwen together. Finally free from each other, they celebrate with Gwen playing her drums.
