Sidon Ithano is an alien who appears in the Star Wars sequel trilogy. He commands Maz Kanata's pirate clan and leads them in defense of her secret fortress. He has the ability, as is common with his species, to mimic sounds.
Background
Variously known as the Crimson Corsair, the Blood Buccaneer and the Red Raider, Sidon Ithano is the captain of the pirate ship Meson Martinet, a modified CSS-1 Corellian Star Shuttle. A Delphidian, Ithano keeps his face concealed behind a red Kaleesh helmet. The Crimson Corsair rarely speaks, leaving the talking to his first mate, Quiggold. But his exploits speak for themselves: spacers whisper of his deeds in the Lost Clusters, at Adratharpe 7, and in Ponemah's Sea of Sand, to name just a few adventures.
Abilities
- Expert Fighter: Ithano is an excellent fighter.
- Expert Marksman: Ithano is extremely skilled in utilizing blaster pistols and blaster rifles.
- Expert Pilot: Ithano was a skilled pilot who owned an armed star-ship called the Meson Martinet and a speeder.
- Expert Negotiation: Ithano is also highly skilled in negotiations.
- Multilingual: Ithano is capable of fluently speaking many languages. Although, he lets Quiggold do the talking.
Weapons and Equipment
- Kanjiklub blaster rifle: Ithano carries a blaster rifle which he claimed from a member of Kanjiklub. This rifle, had a sharp spike under the barrel, and the stock being made out of a polished Reek bone.
- Kanjiklub blaster pistol: Ithano also owned a blaster pistol with a similar design to the blaster rifle from Kanjiklub, with it being partially made from a bone.
- Longswat-44 sniper blaster rifle: By the battle of Exegol, Ithano wielded a Longswat-44 sniper blaster rifle manufactured by Czerka Arms. This rifle was painted with Ithano's color.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Sidon Ithano is seen at Maz's castle when the First Order deserter Finn almost accepts work from Captain Ithano in exchange for transport.
Star Wars Resistance'
Sidon Ithano appears in the episode "The Mutiny", where he sells a vintage cache of super battle droids and one B1 droid to the pirate Kragan Gorr and his Warbird pirate gang. Although Kragan tried to lower the price because the droids were worn out, Ithano manage to convince Kragan to accept his offer.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker
During the Battle of Exegol, Sidon Ithano fought with the Resistance against the Sith Eternal forces and later joined the celebration of their victory at the Resistance base on Ajan Kloss.
