Related: Blinken Claims Russia Deploying 8,000 Koreans Because He’s So Weak He Needs 8,000 Guys

I read about a theory that the reason the US is pumping up this idea of North Korea being in the Ukraine is because they have wanted to send South Koreans to fly bomber jets against Russia.

Now the South Koreans are out there saying they want to get involved in this war.

Reuters:

South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yul, asked on Friday whether Seoul could send weapons to Ukraine in response to North Korea’s aiding Russia, said all possible scenarios were under consideration.

Cho, speaking through an interpreter, told a press conference in Ottawa that Seoul would be watching the level of participation by North Korean troops in Russia and what Pyongyang received from Moscow in return.

South Korea has provided non-lethal aid to Ukraine, including mine clearance equipment, but so far has resisted Kyiv’s requests for weapons.

All possible scenarios are under consideration,” Cho said when asked whether Seoul might send arms to Ukraine.

North Korea should just invade these people.

They have no men to fight. They are totally infertile. It’s a country controlled by women like virtually all of America’s allies.

America comes in and gives your country over to women and the gays. This is what happens. Then, all of the sudden, you’re ready to fight against Russia because they are too masculine and heterosexual.

South Korea is a poodle yapping. They’ll do whatever the US tells them to do. They would even say North Koreans were in Kursk if the US told them to say that. The war is already lost to Russia, what are a few jets going to do. Austin claims Russia needs North Koreans because of the great losses on the Russian side. Austin says a lot of things. Most of them lies. This is hilarious, the US is going to walk away from this and the European leadership is screwed as well as their respective countries. On their tombstone it will read “They did it to themselves”.

  2. It would be fine if South Korea would send many men and warplanes to Ukraine to be ground down by the Russian war machine, make the job easier for Kim Jong Un to reunify his country, where US meddling has caused so much harm for so long.

  3. North Koreans are in Russia to help with reconstructing cities such as Mariopol. The Russians need help with construction labor, not in the military. The Kursk region is almost sacred ground to Russia as the battles that were in that region in WW2 were some of the most important in the war. Russia would only allow Russian troops to fight there today.

  4. If they send their best young men to die in the trenches in Donbass does this imply a surplus of best young women?

Just typing out loud here. : )

  5. This proxy war is the perfect opportunity for the two Koreas to fight without suffering the collateral damage that would otherwise follow from being next to each other. This is the temptation that drives heavy investment in otherwise non-sensical proxy wars. Externalization of the worst of the costs.

I once saw a North Korean athletics team at a mall food court. They were in my city for some international competition. My propaganda soaked USian mind choked on the sight of the stylish K-pop dressed fellow leading the flock of athletes.

Model tourists and great ambassadors for their country.

Would not want to be downrange of a fireteam from their culture.

  6. K-pop Rangers assemble!! South Korea seems to have a more realistic idea about what war is and it’s military industrial complex is said to be more goal orientated than just fixated on profit, which could make them more dangerous than other Western vassals. They don’t seem to have an artillery ammo shortage like the West, they even export.
For instance, they sold 155mm ammunition to the US, and the US donates it to Ukraine from there. Some say it’s just a question of shortening the supply chain and to get S Korean taxpayers to pay the bill. North Koreans don’t even need to be in Kursk or Donbas, they are just being used as justification for another late game provocation.

South Korea also sells weapons to Poland…. Which of course we know what’s going on there vs Russia/Belarus. So yeah Yoon is a nasty hypocrite selling out his own country. He has the lowest ratings of any South Korean leader… He also won by the slimmest margin in their elections since they democratized in the 90’s.

Right there. Kursk was the largest battle in human History. 3 million men, 10,000 tanks, etc.

  12. @James of Africa

Occupied Korea sold those 155s to the US because the law forbids them
from selling to belligerents – this may be what this whole fabrication is about.

Yes, that seems to be the case. The USA and Europe are incapable of manufacturing for war at the necessary scale because they destroyed their own industry, so the USA is trying to work out a way for its Asian slave states to make up the difference for them.
