Upon noticing it, Sky taunts the cat to fire at her, melting the snowball that she and Dave are trapped in, resulting in Dave losing his hair.

Catfish[]

Catfish are seen in Vietnam, where they are used in the challenge during Ca-Noodling. Chameleon[]

The chameleon is introduced in Top Dog's animal buddy challenge, when Duncan chooses it. He does this in memory of his beloved pet, Scruffy, although he fails to remember that Scruffy is an arachnid and the chameleon is a reptile. He tries to train it to turn itself into the color of his mohawk. However, it fails several times. This is partly due to the fact that Owen kept sabotaging the pair by spray painting Duncan's mohawk a different color, so that the chameleon would change to match the color but get scolded by Duncan. By the end of the first challenge, the chameleon finally changes into the right color. In the second challenge, the chameleon is supposed to be Duncan's guide out of the woods. Duncan claims that chameleons are stupid animals and mentions that he should have picked the bear so he could hitch a ride back to the film lot without having to walk. The chameleon then camouflages with the scenery and Duncan believes it is missing for the rest of the episode. It does not reappear until Owen points out that Duncan and his chameleon are bonding, and it then reappeared on Duncan's head. Having blended in with his mohawk, Duncan then realizes it was on his head the whole time.

Chicken[]

In Phobia Factor, it is revealed that Tyler has an irrational fear of chickens. The reason he is afraid of them, however, is never given. During his challenge, he couldn't last more than three minutes in the chicken pen. He even panicked to the point that he went into the fetal position, rocking back and forth. Tyler was later voted off for this and was sent on the Boat of Losers with tears in his eyes. Mainly, it was increasingly chicken related puns from his ex-teammates, only to be stopped by Courtney, that made him upset. He screams in horror when he realizes that the Boat of Losers is filled with chicken cages. In I Triple Dog Dare You!, when Heather is forced to act like a chicken, she has another chicken beside her.

In So, Uh This Is My Team?, when Beardo pulls his cord for his parachute pack, a chicken comes out. A chicken known as "Clucky" appears in I Love You, I Love You Knots. She is stated to be from the CIA, and can tell if someone is lying or telling the truth. She develops a conflict with Rodney after the latter mocks her, which leads her to take revenge by electrocuting him, resulting in Waneyihtam Maskwak winning the challenge, and Clucky being taken away in a straitjacket. Later, it is implied that Chef cooks Clucky for dinner. Clucky's design is different from the regular chickens that appear prior to this, as she didn't have dotted eyes. Future appearances of chickens would use this new design along with the older ones, the latter design also includes alternate colors.

In El Bunny Supremo, the final seven teams are forced to take a bus filled with chickens to Mexico. Though she didn't like the bus condition, Kitty still takes a selfie with one of chickens. In Darjeel With It, several chickens flew out of a train car after the Sisters break into it.

When Bridgette sees the chipmunk, it frightens her, causing her to kick it out of the forest in fear. A chipmunk is briefly seen when Izzy's bike goes through a bush and it suddenly appears, desperately grabbing onto Leshawna's weave in an attempt to not fall off in That's Off the Chain!.

In Wawanakwa Gone Wild!, the chipmunk is Owen's animal to capture. It scurries away from him and runs up a tree, so Owen follows it. Owen tries making friends by talking in third person about his skills as a naturalist with the chipmunk and saying he loves it. However, the chipmunk bites him on the nose and Owen falls off of the tree branch he is on because he is too heavy. The chipmunk lands safely with a parachute, which it pulls out of nowhere. Owen eventually leads the chipmunk into the cage and screams at Chris to close the door. Chris asks if he is sure about that because when he closes the door, Owen is attacked by all of the animals including the chipmunk, because he locked himself in. In Total Drama, Drama, Drama, Drama Island, two chipmunks briefly appear, one fainting into the other chipmunk's arms, while the other fawns over Justin as he walks past them.

However, Gwen wins them over when she pretends to want to play ball with them by using a jewel encrusted egg, allowing the girls to receive their last clue, which was in the egg. Not long after, Owen and Noah run into the dogs, which then attack Owen. Owen doesn't seem to mind, as he does not show any signs of pain when they bite him all over his entire body, even joking that they looked like a fur coat. When Owen and Noah run into Jack the Ripper, Owen attempts to make the dogs attack the Ripper, but they attack him instead. One of the dogs manages to steal a sausage from Owen's pocket, which he accidentally kicks out of its mouth and into the Ripper's hands, prompting them to attack him instead. This allows Team Chris Is Really Really Really Really Hot to capture the Ripper. Leshawna begins to grow desperate in order to catch the frog, even trying to lure it towards her with cheese, which frogs don't eat. The Mandrill only physically appears in African Lying Safari. It finds Cody trapped on the branch of a tree and captures him. Later, it gives Cody a foot massage, which he seems to enjoy. Once Sierra arrives however, the Mandrill and its family become violent and begin to screech at her. Sierra is jealous of the Mandrills spending time with Cody and attacks them, eventually knocking three of them unconscious and forcing Cody's captor to flee.

In Hawaiian Style, a baboon is one of the animals the eliminated contestants can choose to represent the final three they support. However, nobody chose this animal. A family of baboons also appear in Baby Brother Blues, with one of them having the same features as Beth.

A narwhal later helps the Cadets to reach the next challenge site by pushing the ice floe they are standing on.

Narwhals briefly appear at the beginning of Got Venom, where they are angered at being used in the challenge from the previous episode, and start puncturing the plane's tires, forcing the contestants to all board onto the one functional plane.

Waneyihtam Maskwak's pig has a habit of farting and at one point, farts directly at Sky's face. It later was enchanted by Ella's song and begins dancing with her. Pimâpotew Kinosewak's pig on the other hand temporarily becomes evil after Scarlett places the helmet Max invented on it. After several other complications, Pimâpotew Kinosewak manages to reach the finish line first with their pig and wins the challenge.

In Little Bull on the Prairie, the pig is one of the many animals Owen hits while driving.

In Cluckwork Orange, Beth was seen riding on a pig.

Raptors[]

In Jurassic Fart, the contestants are being hunted by prehistoric raptors as they cross the island. Millie pointed out that raptors, like other dinosaurs, are supposed to be extinct, but Chris treats this as if it's no big deal. One raptor has a brief conflict with Julia, as she insults them. This very same one reappears in Tortoise Rigamortis as Julia attempts to get a selfie with it, only to fail due to the raptor still holding a grudge against her.

Rat[]

Rats (or mice) appear frequently during Total Drama Action and Total Drama World Tour. One is seen crawling around the space set in 2008: A Space Owen; another is seen chewing on a CD that Chris had sent Josh and Blaineley at the Celebrity Manhunt studio in Celebrity Manhunt's Total Drama Action Reunion Special.

Several rats and mice live on the Total Drama Jumbo Jet; a few are seen parachuting out of the plane in Anything Yukon Do, I Can Do Better; in The Am-AH-Zon Race one ends up falling into Noah's mouth while he sleeps, but is immediately spat out. In the same episode, a mouse is seen being used in place of a computer mouse by Sierra. Another mouse is picked up and talked to by Sierra in Sweden Sour. A rat on the plane has its cheese stolen from it by Ezekiel in Niagara Brawls.

A rat appeared in Scott's audition tape and he tried to hit it with a baseball bat, which he does on his third attempt.

In Truth or Laser Shark a mutant hairless one was used as a baton for the Toxic Rats during the obstacle course. It even helped Dawn during her portion.

In the beginning of Bigger! Badder! Brutal-er! another mutant rat appears under one of the bed of one of the Cabins. It is shown to have a massive brain due to the radioactive waste. It is seen again at the beginning of Ice Ice Baby where it walks and stops at one point as it sees a eagle who is about to catch him until he uses his mind to pause it and slam it from side to side. It then goes in the main lodge through a hole.

It's then shown next to Cameron with the latter very excited to see it. He called it a "cute Apodemus sylvaticus". He was about to touch it until the rat flies in the air using his mind. All of the contestants then run out of the main lodge to avoid getting hit by a refrigerator with presumably the rat's mind. It is also possible that his mind also controlled Mike for a moment as he was shown not running with the others as well as getting thrown out and hitting the ground on his face.

In Food Fright, two rats are used as booby traps in the pancake eating challenge. They are seen attacking Alejandro. In Zeek And Ye Shall Find, Ezekiel uses two rats to chew on the rope Chris was hanging on. When Chef arrives to save Chris, he shoves the rats away. In The Final Wreck-ening, a mouse briefly appears while Camp Wawanakwa sinks.

In My Way or Zimbabwe, as a part of the challenge, contestants must take a selfie with the rhino. Some contestants experience difficulty and get chased by the rhino, while others get their photo with little difficulty.

Sasquatch[]

Scarab beetles[]

These small, carnivorous beetles are seen in Walk Like An Egyptian - Part 1 and Walk Like An Egyptian - Part 2 in Egypt. They emerge from a chamber in the ancient pyramid traversed by the contestants after DJ accidentally destroys a mummified dog he finds, indicating that they are a part of the Curse of the Mummified Dog.

The beetles attack and devour an intern and then prepare to attack the contestants, who then sing Lovin' Time in an attempt to soothe them into mating with each other rather than attacking them. The song works on them, but when Ezekiel ruins the song's rhythm, the scarabs become enraged and crawl towards the contests, who narrowly escape by fleeing. And they were seen again in the exclusive clip after Duncan took the Drop of Shame and his parachute gets stuck in a tree and scarabs are down there.

The beetles also appear in the exclusive clip of Saving Private Leechball inside the sewers of an Egyptian city where they attack Jo after she took the Flush of Shame.

Snapping turtle[]

The snapping turtle is a reptilian animal that has a shell, into which it uses for defense. It also has a very powerful jaw. It is one of the many animals that appear throughout the Total Drama series.

In the opening sequence of Total Drama Island, the turtle, along with the other animals, attacks DJ when an eagle drops a fish onto him.

In No Pain, No Game, Duncan's challenge from spinning the Wheel of Misfortune was to avoid the barrage of the nastiest snapping turtles in all of Camp Wawanakwa, while Chef Hatchet launches them at him with a hockey stick. Duncan manages to survive the required ten seconds, but not before being completely covered by turtles that were biting his entire body.

In Broadway, Baby!, during the Big Apple challenge, DJ volunteers to get the apple for his team, but is attacked by the turtles. When he finally manages to get away from them, there is still one is hanging on to his shirt. DJ pries it off, nicknaming it "Mr. Nibbles", and throws it back into the water, only for it to be eaten by a larger snapping turtle, which continues the running gag of DJ's Curse of the Mummified Dog.

In Aftermath: Revenge of the Telethon, during the "DJ's World of Animals" segment, meant to raise money for Total Drama, the clip of DJ making the snapping turtle get eaten by a larger snapping turtle is shown again. The turtle is also shown in a cage with the rest of the animals that DJ had hurt. When Blaineley releases all the animals in an attempt to get more money for the telethon, the turtle attacks Bridgette.

In The Obsta-Kill Kourse, the snapping turtles were used in the "Snapping Bars" part of the challenge. The snapping turtles managed to attack Mike (who was Mal at the time) and Scott.

In The Bold and the Booty-ful, a single snapping turtle appears as a booby trap for Mal and it bites him on the hand. However, Mal growls at the snapping turtle and it ran off whimpering.

In The Final Wreck-ening, a snapping turtle, along with other animals, can be seen riding the Boat of Losers after the island sinks at the end of the episode.

In A Million Ways to Lose a Million Dollars, a snapping turtle appears in the final challenge. It gets into the cadets' boat and bites Sanders's arm.

In Tortoise Rigamortis, a Jumuan Fighting Turtle appears as one of the animals that the campers need to take selfies with. However, this animal has the highest amount of points and therefore the deadliest. This animal knows karate and consistently attacks Julia and Emma with his stick. When Emma is at the tree, the turtle jumps up to the tree knocking Emma off, resulting in the turtle flying into the air and presumably dying. Due to Julia’s impeccable selfie skills, she manages to get a selfie with the turtle in the air Julia then won immunity and tricked the others into voting off Emma. Emma was voted off but not for killing the turtle, for being a threat in the final four.

Stymphalian Canadian geese[]

These geese live in nests on the cliffs of Boney Island, where they attacked the Screaming Gophers. They eat bread, like any other goose, as seen in Up the Creek, when Cody throws bread at them and they begin to eat it and stop chasing them. They may be omnivores, as they eat the bread, but also attack the campers.

During the campers' time on the deserted island in Camp Castaways, Duncan finds a particularly large egg. Gwen finds out about this egg, and as they were both hungry they begin to fight over it. A goose then flies over them and cries out, implying that it is a goose egg. It then attacks Duncan to get its egg back and carries him off the ground. Gwen attempts to capture the goose by throwing a lasso around its leg, but the goose is easily able to lift Gwen off the ground as well. It later releases them for unknown reasons.

They reappear in One Million Bucks, B.C. where one steals Heather's new wig, attacked Harold at the end of the episode for "stealing" it's egg, and Heather attacking the one that stole her wig. These geese however, may have been animatronic.

In Evil Dread, a goose tries to steal a fish that Lightning caught, but fails.

In Tortoise Rigamortis, Bowie keeps getting attacked by a goose, and has his phone swallowed by it, ending the challenge with zero points.

In Haulin' n' Ballin',

In Circling the Drain, Caleb, Wayne and Raj pick the Bowie icon and the trio gets attacked by three geese. Wayne realized that winter coats come from geese.

In Soar Losers,

Walrus[]

In Jamaica Me Sweat, during DJ's final run at the longboard challenge, he ended up hitting several animals including a walrus when Alejandro reminded him of his curse. Finding it ridiculous that a walrus somehow ended up on the track, DJ yells that "It doesn't even make any sense!".

In An Egg-stremely Bad Idea, Owen is seen talking to a walrus named Mike. In the credits of Us ‘R’ Toys, a magician gets turned into a walrus.

Wolf[]

A wolf can be heard occasionally heard howling in the background at night during a few episodes of Total Drama Island. The silhouette of one can be seen usually before the Campfire Ceremony. In No Pain, No Game, the wolf is replaced with Chef Hatchet.

Wolverine[]

A wolverine is one of the animals MacArthur brought to the daycare in Cluckwork Orange. Cody pets the wolverine when MacArthur allows the children to play with the animals. From the wolverine, Cody's hand is contaminated with germs and he sucks his dirty thumb without washing it first, causing him to fall ill and later turned into a werewolf.

Woodpecker[]

A woodpecker is a strong-billed, stiff-tailed near-passerine bird which made its first appearance during No Pain, No Game and later appeared in Total Drama: Revenge of the Island.

In No Pain, No Game, one of Owen's challenges is to endure a woodpecker while wearing wooden shorts.

In Search and Do Not Destroy, while DJ was attempting to capture his key, the woodpecker is shown pecking at the branch, slowing DJ down.

A seemingly normal woodpecker was shown in Runaway Model trying to peck at Anne Maria's hair but failing to make any progress.
