Interviews are a show element in Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race. It is the equivalent of confessionals from Total Drama. During interviews, contestants in the race can discuss their relationships, past experiences with their partner, and in their thoughts of events within the competition.

The Best Friends are the first team to be interviewed in the series.

The contestants are interviewed, presumably by off-screen producers, during their time on the show. The central location that the interviews take place in is a room with a dark blue world map in the background.

In "None Down, Eighteen to Go—Part 1," the interviews are used for the teams to introduce themselves as they arrive at the show, with a green title card displaying their names and their team title. Occasionally, there are times where a contestant's voiceover plays, which then transitions over into the interview room.

Another form of interview seen throughout the show has the contestants simply talking to the cameramen on-site, while the challenge takes place, and discuss their thoughts on their current situation. These tend to be fairly short, and have their current location's background being blurry, to put the focus on the person talking in the forefront.

A third style is the exit interview, introduced in "None Down, Eighteen to Go—Part 2," with the first eliminated team, the LARPers. After Don announces the last-placing team's elimination, final comments along with a few clips of their moments throughout their time on the show display, and generally including a final shot of that team in the destination they departed from and a few last words.

Trivia[]

  • Although the empty view of the interview room shows that there are two chairs in there, they are never actually visible in the show.
    • They were, however, seen when animals were sitting on one of them in "Little Bull on the Prairie."
    • Josee also throws a different-looking chair during her tantrums.
  • Gerry and Pete are the only team to not have an interview outside of the world-map room.
  • Dwayne, Josee, and Lorenzo have unintentionally damaged the camera during an interview:
