This article focuses on the interactions between everyone and Caleb.

Overview

Caleb is glared at by the other campers, shortly before they all move away from him in Haulin' n' Ballin'.

While most contestants admire Caleb for his striking looks, he is viewed as a formidable adversary, which ultimately leads to his early elimination in his debut season. In his next season, Caleb demonstrates the same level of strength that was previously attributed to him, and he is determined to progress further with the backing of an alliance. Despite a promising start, Caleb's popularity takes a nosedive due to a misunderstanding, leading to the loss of his girlfriend and the majority of the respect he once commanded. This disfavor makes Caleb an easy target for elimination, as he only narrowly survives by winning immunity in the next episode. Even those who supported him in the finale did so out of obligation rather than genuine fondness, leaving him a widely unpopular contestant overall.

Animals

Similarly to previous contestants, animals have become attracted to Caleb because of his gorgeousness too. In the opening, a shark is seen falling in love with Caleb as he flexes his muscles. During Caleb’s introductory scene in Meet the Victims, two fish fall in love with Caleb upon seeing him. In Pirates of the Cabbagean’s clip of Caleb, a monkey is seen being attracted to his muscles. However, Caleb loses his charm over animals in Total Drama Island (2024), with many of his challenges involving animals attacking him. In the finale, Caleb falls into the water while crossing the tightrope and is surrounded by animals that Chris had put earlier.

Axel

Axel pushes the notecard to Caleb.

Caleb is disgusted by Axel and Ripper’s constant making out session in Ice to Beat You. Later on, during the challenge, she aggressively handed him a notecard with a clue and sarcastically calls him smart: while telling him to read it. In Fun Fight at the O'Cake Corral, Caleb, like the others, voted for Axel because of her relationship with Ripper, which he finds repulsive.

Bowie

In a promotional image for the reboot, Bowie can be seen admiring Caleb. Bowie and Caleb are placed on the same team in Total Drama Island (2023). In the first episode when Caleb arrives on the island, Bowie's smitten at first sight. He can be seen ogling at Caleb several times throughout the episode. Bowie winks at Caleb as Chef explained the challenge was about learning to trust their teammates. When Caleb suggests to pick up the pace in the challenge, Bowie immediately falls victim to his charms and retracts his initial suggestion to take it slow. However, his attraction to Caleb doesn't stop him from voting him off the game as early as possible because of his status as a threat. Bowie deviously smirks upon seeing the Drone of Despair take Caleb away.

He does feel bad for a brief amount of time shown in the next episode, due to considering Caleb a good source of eye candy. In the finale, Caleb is still angered that he’d been eliminated first and not given a chance by his team. Although he wasn't aware of Bowie's part in it at the time. In Total Drama Island: Take the Crown, Caleb’s profile has Bowie listed as his enemy.

Caleb, likely due to having dropped his grudge against Bowie although the latter had caused his early elimination last season, does not glare at him when he reintroduces himself and tries apologizing in The Pink Painter Strikes Again. However, Caleb does take pleasure in calling Bowie out on his whining about his team’s numbers disadvantage in You Poor Saps. This leaves Bowie shocked, and he’s become skeptical as to how Caleb’s defending Priya. Because of what Julia told him and the other former Rat Faces, Caleb voted against Bowie in Canoe Believe It?. Bowie’s point about Caleb being a threat is indirectly confirmed after Caleb makes the finale of Total Drama Island (2024). In the finale, Bowie orders Wayne’s helpers to fire at Caleb and Julia as they were wrangling with one another on the tightrope.

Chase

Caleb gives Chase a confused glare as the latter believes he’s been picked.

As Chase hears Emma say that she picks someone “hot, strong, and emotionally mature” in The Pink Painter Strikes Again, Chase believes she was referring to him, which leaves Caleb with a confused expression on his face. However, it was later revealed that the girls were referring to Caleb.

Chef Hatchet

Chef calls out Caleb in You Poor Saps for coming up short for his team right at the end: putting dramatic emphasis on the idea that he might’ve skipped leg day. In response, Caleb exclaims that he only missed the gym once, because it was closed for Christmas. Chef called Caleb and Priya out together in Canoe Believe It? for getting out during the first round and then sneaking off and failing to find the immunity idol: meaning they weren’t safe. Chef calls Caleb shadier than an umbrella in Haulin' n' Ballin'. Chef calls Caleb out for tackling Priya over the cliff in Working K9 to 5, comparing his wooing skills to a dumpster fire.

Chris

Chris expresses attraction towards Caleb in Meet the Victims, with the latter being the first contestant to successfully put even the host in a trance with his looks. Chris refers to Caleb as the most gorgeous man alive while he recaps in Pirates of the Cabbage'an, and admits that he was shocked about how the Frogs of Death voted him off.

As Chris recaps the previous season in The Pink Painter Strikes Again, he simply describes Caleb as gorgeous again. However, the more drama Caleb gets involved in over the course of the second season, the more Chris’s opinion on him has deteriorated. This season, Caleb expresses a decent knowledge of the host, having managed to win Chris over in Fun Fight at the O'Cake Corral by decorating a cake that looked like his narcissistic image of himself.

In Breaking Up is Hard to Do, Caleb believes he should’ve won after bringing back Chris’s yacht. Chris points out that it was his “smallest and least impressive” yacht, sarcastically giving Caleb a slow clap. Chris laughs seeing Priya leave after Caleb won immunity, but reminds him that it could be worse, like what happened to Chef’s car. Chris calls Caleb and his fear of clowns and snakes “basic” in Off the Hook!, choosing to mesh them together in order to make it appealing to his sadistic whims.

Damien

Caleb is relatively kind to Damien, having joined the others in expressing disbelief as to what Millie did to him in You Poor Saps. Caleb and Damien share rather unfriendly glances when the merge is announced in Canoe Believe It?. However, Damien is supportive of Caleb and Priya’s relationship. taking notice of their flirting, and he happily tells Zee that he felt like love is in the air. Caleb cheers for Damien when he wins immunity. Caleb laughs at Damien’s joke about Chef being unable to help them in the kitchen in Fun Fight at the O'Cake Corral, and the two work well together as teammates in this episode. Damien lands between Caleb and Priya before they can share their first kiss in Haulin' n' Ballin'. Damien expresses a low opinion of Caleb after learning the “truth” about him.

He comforts a saddened Priya after Caleb’s “lies” hurt her. In Circling the Drain, Caleb advises Damien not to look up after he accidentally picked the Scary Girl punishment: a giant skull-shaped wrecking ball. Damien and the Hockey Bros are all left shocked when it’s announced that Caleb was safe. Damien supports Caleb in the finale purely out of anger that Julia stole his immunity idol. Regardless, he still attempts to be a good helper, advising Caleb not to look down at the gorge while crossing the tightrope.

Emma

Right after rubbing it in Caleb’s face when she survived elimination instead of him, Emma awkwardly flirts with him.

In a promotional image for the reboot, Emma can be seen admiring Caleb. When Caleb arrives on the island in Meet the Victims, Emma's one of the contestants immediately attracted to Caleb on sight. This carries throughout the episode. When Emma receives the marshmallow, Caleb is left in shocked silence. Emma immediately rubs it in Caleb's face then tries to apologize, asking for his phone number as well. Her feelings for him persist, gushing about the idea of him taking off his shirt in Pirates of the Cabbagean’s opening scene. Caleb's implied to be frustrated with Emma and the rest of the team for voting him off over her.

After checking to see if Emma's okay in You Poor Saps, Caleb's question is quickly answered as he watches a cat punching her.

Emma happily picks Caleb to join Team Rat Face in The Pink Painter Strikes Again: describing him as hot, strong, and emotionally mature. Caleb cheers for Emma over Nichelle, and he gasps when Julia tackles her to the ground. Caleb and Emma travel together in You Poor Saps. Emma is gleeful and impressed with Caleb’s strength when he managed to lift the log they were trapped under. While running to the finish line, Caleb asks Emma if she’s alright. She responds, pointing out the cat that was punching her.

Despite having had a stable friendship with Emma, Caleb chose Priya over her in Choosin' for a Bruisin' and had joined Priya’s plan to trick Emma into believing she really was answering correctly. He voted her off: hoping that she’d go home over Priya, and he breathes a heavy sigh of relief when the last marshmallow goes to Priya. And although she’d never had any negative experiences with Caleb, Emma joins the sentiment of only supporting Caleb to make sure Julia loses in Soar Losers, going as far as calling their team "Team Not Julia."

Julia

After a season of tension between the two, Caleb and Julia, in the finale together, furiously try to outdo one another.

Other than perhaps voting Caleb in Meet the Victims, Julia does not interact with him much in Total Drama Island (2023). They primarily interact in the later half of Total Drama Island (2024), starting with Julia attempting to offer Caleb an alliance in Breaking Up is Hard to Do, and sabotaging his progress after he declined. Julia tries to keep Caleb and Priya apart in Circling the Drain. After this fails, Julia faces the freshly made up couple for immunity in the lightning round.

Having been forced to take Julia’s offer of immunity in exchange for his promise that he’d vote whoever she wanted in this very same episode, Caleb officially gets himself involved in an “agreement” with her. Julia constantly reminds Caleb that whether he calls it an alliance or an agreement: his vote belongs to her. In Off the Hook!, Caleb, having been convinced by Priya to now betray their deal, works to try getting Julia eliminated. This attempt fails, but he settles on doing everything in his effort to defeat the villainess in Soar Losers, with the two both angrily racing and combatting each other. However, Caleb’s best effort to defeat Julia came up short, and neither best each other in the end as Wayne won.

Millie

Caleb is surprised that Millie was the first pick.

In a promotional image for the reboot, Millie can be seen admiring Caleb. However, the two do not share fondness for one another in the show. It is indicated that Caleb does not think very highly of Millie: expressing shock and anger that she was first pick in The Pink Painter Strikes Again. Caleb and Millie continue having negative experiences as teammates: starting with how she’d interrupted his attempt at making a good first impression with Priya, and she thanks him for carrying her bag as well, before taking Priya with her to discuss her TDI training guide.

Millie notices of Priya staring lovingly at Caleb’s muscles in Taking It to the Rim Reaper, she points out the fact that Priya’s definitely great at a lot of things, apart from hiding her crushes. Caleb’s opinion of Millie deteriorated after she pushed Damien down the Death Boot, and he shakes his head in disapproval at this. However, Caleb still travels with Millie in You Poor Saps. He voted her off at the elimination ceremony, however, and expressed gratefulness she was out of the picture in the next episode since this gave him even more of a chance to form an alliance with Priya. However, Millie still supports Caleb in the finale. Nevertheless, she agrees with Nichelle’s desire to only see Julia lose.

MK

When Nichelle is introduced in Meet the Victims, MK appears to be peeking over Caleb’s shoulder at her. In Magma Cum Laude, MK expresses sarcastic pity for Caleb when he says his team voted him off first because they “found him physically intimidating”.

In The Pink Painter Strikes Again, MK tries to piggyback on Caleb as the contestants are racing towards the finish line, believing his large physique will protect her. Caleb eventually finds out and pulls her off his back and taunts her, but this momentary distraction causes them to be eliminated. MK joined Julia in sabotaging Caleb in You Poor Saps.

MK gets vicious with Caleb.

After learning how the bonus point beacons work in Haulin' n' Ballin', Caleb stops MK's attempt to activate her beacon, leading to a short scuffle during which MK swiftly bites Caleb’s ankle, causing him to let out a scream of pain. Following Zee's revelation that Caleb is supposedly feigning affection for Priya to form an alliance, MK remarks on Caleb's harshness and contrasts it with her own honesty about her cold nature. In Breaking Up is Hard to Do, MK joins Julia in offering Caleb an alliance to keep him in the game, because of his unpopularity since the last episode. MK mockingly compares Caleb to a bran muffin on a plate of cupcakes, even. However, Caleb refuses, due to his awareness of Julia and MK’s scheming ways. MK is left offended by this. MK later teases Caleb for not joining their alliance and for only having a small picnic table as an item, worrying him after she drove by in Chef’s car. This leads Caleb to hurriedly look for something bigger, before he stumbles upon Chris’s yacht. Caleb was one of the people MK tried and failed to get to vote for Julia at the elimination ceremony.

Nichelle

Caleb isn’t amazed like his teammates when they see Nichelle in Meet the Victims, which could imply he either doesn’t care about her presence or doesn’t find her presence to be a big deal. In Total Drama Island: Take the Crown, Caleb’s profile has Nichelle listed as his best friend.

Nichelle and Caleb are their team’s last hope.

Nichelle cheers for Caleb as he carries their teammates in You Poor Saps. Caleb and Nichelle are the last members of their team left after the others fall down the cave in Ice to Beat You. He throws Nichelle over to the key after she tells him to as a last resort. This succeeds. In Soar Losers, Nichelle is the very first one to clarify that she didn’t care if Caleb won: just that she wanted Julia to lose. She also doesn’t give him any advice, instead getting sidetracked on a discussion about her movie career.

Priya

Caleb bids Priya farewell.

Initially, Priya does admire Caleb’s looks. However, it doesn’t go much beyond physical attraction in their debut season due to Caleb’s early elimination. Upon their return for Total Drama Island (2024), Caleb takes notice of Priya’s status as defending champion, and goes for an alliance with her. He starts off by showing off his muscles to her to get her to warm up to this idea. This causes Priya to gain a larger crush on Caleb. They remain relatively good friends for the first few episodes, with both desiring to take this beyond friendship: Priya wanting a relationship and Caleb wanting just an alliance.

By Canoe Believe It?, Caleb starts to reciprocate Priya’s feelings for him. Their relationship and alliance is ended in Haulin' n' Ballin' after Zee’s interference. Priya spends the next two episodes being angered with Caleb until they make up and attempt to take Julia out together in Circling the Drain. However, Priya is infuriated to learn about Caleb and Julia’s alliance. Eventually, the tension between them ends by Off the Hook!. In the episode, they try to take out Julia together. However, after their attempts fail, Priya is voted off because of Julia’s Immunity Idol. Caleb and Priya share one final goodbye, with Priya angrily shouting at Caleb to avenge her as she is carried off the island. In Soar Losers, Caleb is concerned about Priya seeming more interested in him beating Julia in the finale than genuinely supporting him. After he loses in the finale, however, Priya kisses him and expresses her love for him and pride in his performance, indicating that the couple are still on good terms.

Raj

Caleb expresses anger when the Hockey Bros are picked before him in The Pink Painter Strikes Again. Raj and Wayne are shocked to learn about the “truth” behind Caleb and Priya’s romance in Haulin' n' Ballin'. Raj compares the situation to a hypothetical scenario where Bowie would do the same thing. Raj admits he’d be sad if Bowie did something like that to him. In Circling the Drain, Raj and Wayne picked the same square as Caleb. Raj called this “great minds”, which made Caleb see it as a bad sign. The Hockey Bros voted for Caleb in Working K9 to 5 after flipping a coin: and in return, Caleb had voted for Raj. They both looked worried as they were in the bottom two.

Ripper

Caleb is disgusted and horrified by Ripper’s fart in You Poor Saps, screaming at the sight of it. Ripper tried comparing himself to guys like Caleb, only to answer the latter’s question wrong in Choosin' for a Bruisin'. Caleb is disgusted to see Axel and Ripper make out in Ice to Beat You and for the rest of the couple’s time on the show.

Scary Girl

In the opening sequence, Caleb directly foils Scary Girl's attempt at chasing Nichelle, Priya, and Axel on a shark by seducing the animal with his looks. Whether this was intentional or not by Caleb, the three are now safe and Scary Girl's sent flying off the shark's fin.

In Soar Losers, Caleb, while not hindered by Scary Girl like Julia was, gets lucky when she appears in front of him and scares away all the animals as they’d surrounded him. Scary Girl creepily giggles upon seeing Caleb and Julia fall down a tree after crashing into one another, even making another song about it.

Wayne

Caleb isn’t shocked that Wayne got the second marshmallow.

Wayne is angered at Caleb for “using” Priya in Breaking Up is Hard to Do, and he angrily tells Caleb to keep walking as he tried explaining himself to her. In Off the Hook!, Wayne was shocked to see Caleb hook his own girlfriend Priya. He later swiftly hooks Caleb as he was trying to combat with Julia. Later in the challenge, Chef drops Wayne into Caleb’s terror tank, with Wayne freeing Caleb from the clown snake after landing on it. A small friendship develops between them as they put their conflict aside to vote off Julia together, with Caleb smiling at Priya and Wayne at the elimination ceremony. However, Caleb is confused when Chris calls Wayne receiving the second marshmallow a shock, and agrees with the idea of doubting Wayne could make the finale.

In the season finale, Wayne tries joining in on Caleb and Julia’s arguing: but he isn’t really angry. When seeing the eliminated campers return to root for a favorite finalist, Wayne happily turns to Caleb, saying he was worried Raj wouldn’t choose to support him. This confuses Caleb. Both Caleb and Wayne share a disappointed reaction upon learning that the finalists had to pull their supporters due to both having a larger group. After Wayne wins, Caleb takes the loss well, joining everyone else in celebrating Wayne’s victory.

Zee

Zee reveals the “truth” about Caleb and Priya's relationship.

Although Zee was charmed by Caleb in Meet the Victims, the two don’t share much camaraderie after personally getting to know each other apart from working well as teammates. In Canoe Believe It?, Caleb confides in Zee that his alliance with Priya was only strategic. This creates a false perception of Caleb in Zee’s eyes, with Zee now thinking of the former as a “huge flirt machine” who was playing with Priya’s feelings. For the rest of Zee’s stay during the season, he tries to keep secret what Caleb told him. But by Haulin' n' Ballin', Zee has had enough with Caleb, now officially exposing him as a manipulator, resulting in their conflict ending unresolved, with the two voting each other off the island, and Caleb surviving elimination at Zee’s expense.
