Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido (JP) is a puzzle adventure game developed by Indieszero for the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch in 2018.

Gameplay[]

The player uses the touch screen to create chains of sushi. The player can hold for up to 7 seconds or they will lose their chain. These chains give the player a stack of plates which they can throw at their opponent with bigger stacks having big multipliers. The player can collect up to 5 stacks before having to throw them. The player has a sushi sprite which determine the player's special moves. The game features a competitive online mode.

Plot[]

The game takes place in a world where sushi has been banned after the Sushi Struggles. The player, Musashi, joins the Sushi Liberation Front and partakes in sushi battles to defeat the empire.

Reception[]

According to Metacritic, Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido on Nintendo Switch gets a metascore of 76/100 based on 44 critics.
