Nintendo Entertainment Planning and Development (EPD)[]
Nintendo Entertainment Planning and Development or Nintendo EPD for short, is currently the largest division within Nintendo, consisting of around 1000+ developers who create Nintendo games. It was formed in 2015 with the merger between Nintendo Entertainment Analysis & Development (EAD) and Nintendo Software Planning & Development (SPD).
Nintendo Platform Technology Development (PTD)[]
Nintendo Platform Technology Development or Nintendo PTD for short is Nintendo's Hardware division. It was formed in 2015 with Company President Tatsumi Kimishima combining Nintendo Integrated Research and Development with Nintendo System Development.

Nintendo Entertainment Analysis & Development (previously Nintendo R&D4) was a division within Nintendo that specialized in creating video games for their current consoles. It was merged with with Nintendo SPD to create Nintendo EPD
Nintendo Software Planning and Development[]
Nintendo Software Planning and Development's main purpose was to produce and overseee other developers in creating Nintendo published video games, though they themselves also developed original titles. They were consolidated into Nintendo EPD with EAD.
Nintendo Software Design & Development[]
Nintendo Software Design & Development has developed numerous products for the Wii and Nintendo DS ranging from the Wii channels to Photo Dojo on DSiWare.
