Lydie LeGrand (リディ・ル・グローン) is a minor supporting character in Macross Δ and its theatrical adaptation, Macross Δ Movie: Passionate Walküre. She passed the first audition for Chaos' "Tactical Sound Unit" but quit shortly after prior to the formation of Walküre.
Personality & Character
The flashback shows Lydie as a typical young Ragnan girl who is energetic and hopeful, but easily frightened in the face of danger. In the end she couldn't cope with the demanding needs of the Chaos Music Division's experimental project.
Skills And Abilities
She was scouted because of her fold receptor potential, but neither her vocal range nor active reaction ratio were elaborated on due to her short stint with the group.
History
Following a public audition in 2064, Lydie LeGrand was scouted as a member of a tactical sound unit that Chaos was organizing alongside Claire Paddle and Makina Nakajima. Since the unit was supposed to perform at the center of a battlefield, all members were subjected to intensive survival training in between performance lessons.
Lydie tried to endure everything for a while, but later realized that this was not the kind of life she wanted. She quit midway through training.[1]
