Macross 7 CD Cinema 1: Mellow Heart Beat (マクロス7 CDシネマ1 Mellow Heart Beat Makurosu 7 CD Shinema 1 Merō Hāto Beat) is a Macross 7 "radimation" drama episode (first broadcast on Anime Express). It included a complete script booklet and book case. There was also a poster given as a special purchase offer with initial reservation that was released in 1996 by Victor Entertainment.
It was followed by Macross 7 CD Cinema 2: Melodious Illusion and Macross 7 CD Cinema 3: Galaxy Song Battle.

In the mid to late 90's, there was Macross radio show called "Anime Express" that ran concurrently with the Macross 7 television series. It was primarily a talk show, hosted by Akiko Nakagawa, who voiced the Flower Girl and Sivil.[1] During its broadcast, several series of radio dramas were aired, with each episode consisting of roughly ten minutes, which when combined, formed a feature length story.
Many of these radio dramas were subsequently released as drama albums, such as this series, Macross Generation, The Super Dimension Fortress Macross Inside Story～Macross Classic and the drama album for Macross 7: Trash. The first Macross 7-related drama was Mellow Heart Beat, which is a 70-minute long series about the Flower Girl trying to access Fire Bomber’s homepage.
Plot[]
A revolutionary new computer network service called "Pasokla" is launched aboard the Macross 7 fleet. Fire Bomber's Mylene Flare Jenius then decides to open a "Fire Bomber Room (FBR) homepage and chat room on the fledgling network.
Mylene is enthusiastic about the prospects of owning their own home page, but Basara Nekki shows little interest. Bassara's biggest fan, Flower Girl, quickly purchases a terminal kit necessary for connecting to Pasokla at "Bunny's store" where Bunny Sato is the store manager. When she gets home, Flower Girl tries to access the FBR, but fails on multiple occasions due to server traffic limitations. She finally succeeded, three weeks after FBR homepage opened, but could not type in a message within the allotted time limit.
After several others attempts, she realized that the best way to convey her feelings is to sing a Fire Bomber song. She attempts one more time during a busy day as fans flooded the site, and succeeds in delivering her message. She doesn't get a response.
