New United Nations Spacy

The New United Nations Spacy (新統合宇宙軍, Shin Tōgō Uchū-gun), also commonly referred to as N.U.N.S., is a space-based military branch of the New United Nations Forces, and was first introduced prior to the events of Macross VF-X2 and seen formally established in Macross Frontier.^[1]

History

The New United Nations Spacy is the successor to U.N. Spacy, and serves a similar function to the New United Nations Government. However, due to the nature of dealing with bureaucracy among long distance emigrant fleets and colonies, local governments began contracting private military corporations such as Strategic Military Services and Chaos to deal with localized threats more effectively.
