Chris’s review published on Letterboxd:
Not fleshed out enough, has good sound design, but it’s kinda whatever to me. Nic Cage wasn’t a standout to me, its symbolism was there but not all that interesting. Can’t even say I understand where people are getting scared by this film? Idk. The marketing was exceptional, but the film was not. The exposition at the ending was also just not needed at all, I, and everyone I watched it with, was able to deduce everything that the film started to explain. Just really bored by this.
