Yo this was gnarly af. Had me unsettled from the jump & the entire film is just filled with dread. Packed with two great performances from the leads, immaculate camerawork & intense sound design that really kept that uneasy feeling strong throughout. Maika Monroe is fantastic & she is solidifying herself as one of the best actresses in horror right now. Nicolas Cage is insanely disturbing in his performance & I loved every second of it. There was lots of hype surrounding this film and it mostly lived up to it for me.
Definitely got under my skin and will be on my mind for days to come.
