Worth more alive than dead.
I've finally taken the time to soak in this classic, it may not be the appropriate season but the lesson still hits the same. I don't know how many TV shoes I've seen with an episode dedicated to this movie's plotline, and even though the lesson is simple the emotions run deep especially for anyone who's gone through rough times. This has a lot of rewatch value which is probably why many families have it as tradition to pop this in during the holidays, as a first time watcher it's going to be interesting putting pieces together when I revisit this. The dialogue is quotable with memorable characters, and I'm glad to finally understand where George Costanza was very loosely based on lol.
I don't think I need to explain the inner context of the film to anyone, and even though I'm not a religious man I can't bash anything that promotes the value of life. The performances were good according to its era, Jimmy Stewart played a solid lead role although I can't say his acting was stellar or anything, in fact no one really stood out to me like that. I can't say any more on what already has been said about this wholesome movie, but I also can't say that I fell totally in love so it might take a couple more rewatches in the future for that to happen.
Overall this is a timeless classic, one that can be enjoyed by all walks of life especially to the ones who are going through rough times, recommended to everyone!
