I’ve seen this film several times and while it always makes me tear up, I don’t think I’ve ever related to George as much as I did on this watch. Having all these plans and aspirations for what your life needs to look like or what providing for your family looks like can be so unrealistic sometimes. Success doesn’t lead to happiness but happiness leads to success.
It’s a Wonderful Life is the quintessential Christmas film. It’ll always be a favourite of mine and one I think I need to watch every year.
