Strange isn’t it? Each man’s life touches so many others. When he isn’t around he leaves an awful hole, doesn’t he?
Every time the holiday season rolls around each year, I anticipate watching this film, wondering if the magic will wear off or if the story won’t hit the same. I can say with full confidence that not only does this age beautifully, but that I gleam so much more after each watch, thus strengthening my love for this piece of art. Hope is life affirming, and like George Bailey, if I choose to love those around me, I’ll be a rich man in the only way that counts
