Continuing on their meeting from the previous chapter, Megumin declares it is time to put a plan into motion. Later that evening, however, the thoughts of the dysfunctionality from days prior continue to plague her. Kazuma sees her and, upon her asking, explains how he manages "problem children" (his party). The following day, Megumin follows Kazuma's advice, going around to each of her party members individually and bonds with them for the sake of creating a more cohesive unit before gathering them all up together. In yet another secret meeting they have, each proposes a target that they've investigated to steal from, but this time the group is all focused on business. Megumin's chest wells up with pride upon seeing her efforts pay off, and silently acknowledges and thanks Kazuma, before Chris finally lays out her plan.
