An Oasis For These Days Of Adventure! (この冒険の日々に癒やしを！, Kono Bōken no Hibi ni Oashisu wo!) is the fifteenth chapter of the KonoSuba Bakuen manga series, and covers Chapter 1 in Volume 3 of the light novels.
Summary[]
Seeing Megumin being surrounded by adventurers trying to recruit her at the Guild, Yunyun posts her own recruitment request on the bulletin board. Megumin then decides to join the Warrior Rise and his Thief sister Laina on a quest for exterminating Chestnut Rats at the farming district, so that they can see how well they work as a party. Yet when they are attacked by the rodent pests that eat up the autumn harvest, Megumin frantically casts Explosion to blow them up along with the surrounding chestnut tress which she later has to use all her money to pay for, while Rise and Laina tell her as she lies down unmoving all sorts of excuses to reject her from the party.
Limping back to the Guild poor as well as hungry that evening, Megumin passes by the recruitment request from Yunyun that is more of an advertisement for seeking friends. She subsequently hears the hall owner scolding the young man wearing a jersey who doesn't believe the anchovies he is ordered to retrieve are grown in fields and the young woman with blue hair who keeps purifying the alcoholic drinks she serves into water, then as they get sacked walks off to collect Yunyun, who had been sitting alone all day.
The next day at the Guild, Luna informs the gathered adventurers about a huge monster looking like a Demon and capable of using Advanced Magic recently sighted in the nearby forest. Megumin next checks the bulletin board for party member recruitment posts, and notices aside from Yunyun's request one from a Sword Master looking for a Wizard and a Priest, as well as another one from a Crusader looking for a type of party member that got erased by her Thief companion, before she eventually settles for a member request that seeks a Wizard.
Later while Ein and his party battle a swarm of Slimes in the woods, they hear from Megumin how her magic will hit them all too in that situation. Managing to take out all of the monsters themselves, during a break Ein's party is lauded by Megumin. She is then pissed on by Bloody Squirrels that are showing up outside their usual habitat, and again has to rely on Ein's party to defeat them. Soon afterwards, Megumin is questioned by Lod on the circumstances she can use her magic in, when a Mega Slime emerges to devour the dead Bloody Squirrels. While Ein's party are at a loss, Megumin proceeds to obliterate the Mega Slime with one Explosion.
During the subsequent celebration at the Guild where Ein's party expresses how impressed they are with her, however, Megumin confesses about her being able to use only one magic once a day, so Ein tells her that she needs to join some other party. The depressed Megumin afterwards notices Yunyun, who is playing a chess-like game by herself, and goes to join her as she convinces herself of better days ahead.
It so happened that when people looked at the recruitment request Yunyun had posted, she kept glaring over in excitement which made her eyes glow, until a Guild employee asked her to stop scaring people. The dejected Yunyun was then approached by a much older plump man who claimed to be her age, at which Yunyun settled for just talking and having lunch with him.
