Carl is in the airstrip, sitting on a crate, looking and waiting for The Truth. Suddenly The Truth, who is riding the Jetpack acquired from Black Project, comes out of nowhere and heads straight for Carl, who manages to avoid him. He later says he can't fly the Jetpack, so Carl should fly it. He should head for a train heavily protected by guards, kill the guards, and get the "stuff". Carl asks what stuff Truth wants him to steal, but Truth states that he does not know yet. Carl, being confused and a little angry, asks Truth why he does not know yet, but he merely replies by saying that Carl will be stealing the answer, and to get "whatever they least want us to get."
Carl heads for the train, which is coming from Prickle Pine. He kills the guards protecting the train, then he shoots at three blue crates, with one crate revealing the package needed for The Truth. He collects the jar of green goo and takes it back to The Truth, who is waiting at the airstrip. Carl gives it to The Truth, who calls the green goo "everything". Carl asks one more time what it is, but is too late, as Truth drives off in the Mothership.
Mission Objectives[]
In order to complete the mission the player must:
Fly the jet pack to the train, and steal whatever they least want you to get.
Shoot the crates on the train to find the jar of green goo.
The crate is empty, try another. (If an empty crate is shot)
That's the right one! Grab the jar of green goo.
You have found the jar of green goo. Take it to The Truth.
Man, why I gotta wait in the middle of the desert for this maniac all the time?
CJ slightly loses his temper while waiting. Few moments later, The Truth calls him.
Truth:
Carl, it's The Truth.
CJ is unaware that The Truth is inside a drum nearby.
CJ:
Hey man, where you at? You sound like you're in a cave, or something.
Truth:
Around. Been eating a lot lately, Carl? Not getting enough exercise?
CJ:
Yeah... I guess.
Truth:
Look, I want you to use that gizmo you acquired, but you gotta lose some of that ballast first, fat ass. Hurry, we've only got a short window for this one.
The phone call ends.
CJ:
(meekly) The hell with you! Man, I'm just big boned shit, that's all...
CJ leaves. The drum The Truth is in falls off.
Truth:
(not in the subtitles) Ahh. Damn.
Actual mission
CJ is waiting at the airfield for The Truth.
CJ:
Damn. Where is this fool?
The Truth comes flying the Jetpack, but unable to control it.
Truth:
Woooah! Shit.
CJ:
Hey, man, look out.
The Truth loses control of the Jetpack and falls down.
Truth:
Oh! Damn! Ow! THE NEW AGE BEGINS HERE!
CJ:
Say what?
Truth:
Not all fantastic things are lies, Carl! Today, we'll know EVERYTHING.
CJ:
Oh, I can hardly wait. I hear knowledge is truly sacred in this part of the world.
Truth:
Man, I've tried, but I can't fly for shit. You better do it. Land on the train, kill the guards, get in and steal the stuff.
CJ:
Oh, yeah. What stuff?
Truth:
I don't know yet!
CJ:
Oh. You don't know yet! I was starting to think you was a lunatic. (angrily) What do you mean, you don't know yet?
Truth:
You'll be stealing the answer! Look, fly the jet pack. Land on the train. And steal whatever they least want us to get. Shhh. Listen. They're coming. We better go. Peace on earth, dude.
CJ flies the Jetpack to the train and steals the Green Goo. He then returns back to the airstrip, where Truth arrives with his mothership.
Truth:
You got it, man?
CJ:
I got something.
Truth:
Let me see!
The Truth looks at the Green Goo.
Truth:
Oooh... Everything is different now.
CJ:
What is it?
Truth:
Everything. They will call this 'year zero'. I'll be in touch.

Trivia[]
Just like in the previous mission given to the player by The Truth, if CJ's fat is above 60%, a special cutscenewill be triggered. The Truth will call him from inside a barrel, mocking him again and telling him to do some exercises. After hanging up, CJ meekly replies that he's "just big boned" while leaving the area.
It is normally possible to remove the Jetpack once equipped, however, this ability is disabled for this mission, meaning the player cannot land on the end of the train, remove the Jetpack, and continue on foot. This also applies to the mission Black Project.
In the iOS/Xbox 360/Android versions, however, it is possible to take the Jetpack off, although this will not affect the mission.
No matter which crate the player shoots first, the Green Goo will always be inside the third crate.
