I countdown to the Solstice because where I live, Spring is a lot like Winter. It's cold, wet. Just not as much snow
DeleteStill a bit chilly for Maine isn't it? (We're FINALLY seeing some 'normal' temperatures here! YAY!)
ReplyDeleteYeah, still chilly for Maine, but a girl can dream
DeleteYou are yearning for summer! So am I and your photo lifts my spirits. Coincidentally I had fish and chips today, but not on the coast.
ReplyDeleteHappy T-Day,
Lisca
The Knights of Columbus at our church are doing a drive-by (buy) fish and chips on Fridays during Lent. Yummy and no cooking for me
DeleteFish n Chips, one of our favorites here. Great photo and view of the sea. Have a lovely day today.
ReplyDeleteWeather-wise, it was a gorgeous and unusually warm day for Febraury - CJ
DeleteWe've had unseasonably high temps, but tonight we head for the deep freeze. I am not a fan of summer, but love spring and autumn.
ReplyDeleteYour fish and chips, along with your iced tea looks very summery. I hope that is a recent photo and you are experiencing warm weather, instead of snow.
Thanks for sharing your meal and tea with us for T this Tuesday, dear CJ.
It's a photo from last year, but a girl can dream
DeleteOkay, we've got time to enjoy it all!

Deletethecontemplativecat here. I would love to sit on that balcony, drinking an ice tea.
ReplyDeleteIt was an indoor enclosure to the restaurant. I wish it had been warmer last year when the photo was taken so we could have sat at the tables outside
DeleteI love Long Sands Beach. I lived there for 2 years. And your picture makes me want it to be summer and to be at the beach for the day. I bet you loved today's beautiful temperatures. I did. I hope it was a great T day too.
ReplyDeleteYup, I went outside with just a sweatshirt on - CJ
DeleteYou are fed up with winter, aren't ya?:)

DeleteYour lunch looks delicious - fish & chips? The best you can have while looking over the ocean. Happy T day!
ReplyDeleteIt was early May and a little chilly that day. If it was a little warmer, I would have ordered fried clams - CJ
